Funeral service for Willie Mae South, 97, will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2014, at K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel in Jacksonville with the Rev. Chuck Cummings officiating. Burial will be at Four Mile Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday for one hour prior to services. Mrs. South died on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Regional Medical Center. She is survived by two sons, Joe South and his wife Linda, of Oxford and Ellis South and his wife Carolyn, of Alexandria; four grandchildren, Dana (Will) Parks, of Oxford, Eric South, of Ohatchee, Jodi South, of Anniston and Dallas Rutkowski, of Alexandria; two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Turner, of Oxford; a sister, Dorothy Bonds, of Anniston; a brother-in-law, Raymond Graydon, of Anniston; a nephew, Lewis (Cheryl) Graydon, of Opelika, Ala. and a great niece, Mary Carol Graydon, of Opelika, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, D. C. Bonds; her mother, Mae Bell Bonds; her step mother, Cindy Bonds and a sister, Mary Graydon. Mrs. South was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was loved by everyone. She was a member of Four Mile United Methodist Church.
