The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Thomason went to be with her Heavenly Father on June 2, 2016 at Piedmont Health Care Center. Mrs. Thomason was a resident of Oxford and loved her church, The Truth Ministry. Her greatest joy in life was her love for God, reading her Bible, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her life was a witness to others by her strong Christian faith. Mrs. Thomason is preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Thomason. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Skinner; a son, Allen Thomason and his wife, Donna; a sister, Mary Jo Jarvis; two grandsons, Cody Thomason and David Skinner and his wife, LaKeetha; two great-granddaughters, Mahala Skinner and Mya Skinner; and a very special niece, Judy Ogle, who was always ready and willing to see to her needs. Pallbearers will be Johnny Cockrell, Gary Ogle, Danny Price, David Skinner, Cody Thomason and Dan Mathis. The family would like to give special thanks to all the wonderful staff at Piedmont Health Care Center who took great care of her for the past six months and the Alacare family who ministered to her needs in the home. They became family to us. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.klbrownmemorychapel.com. K.L. Brown Memory Chapel 620 Golden Springs Road Anniston, AL 36207 (256) 231-2334
