Lineville - Funeral services for Wylodean S. Lindsey, 72, will be today, January 4, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church where the Rev. Shirleen Harvey pastor, the Rev. Daryl Wood officiating. Burial will be in Lineville City Cemetery. Mrs. Lindsey's remains will arrive at the church two hours prior to her services. Mrs. Lindsey passed away on December 26, 2013 at Clay County Hospital. Mrs. Lindsey was a faithful member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and served on Usher and Missionary Board. Survivors include her daughter, Veretta (Clarence) Wood, of Charlotte, N.C.; sons, DeAndre (Carissa) Lindsey, of Lineville, James G. (Gwen) Lindsey, of Talladega; stepsons, George E. Smith, of Lineville, and Daryl L. Lewis, of Lakeland, Fla.; siblings, Gladys Wilson, Johnny B. (Willie Ann) Shepard, all of Childersburg, Cheryl McCoy, Rhonda Shepard and Mark Shepard, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; aunts, in-laws, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie W.C. Shepard and Mellene Shepard (Charlie) Greathouse; husband, James E. Lindsey; brothers, Raymond Howard and Willie Shepard Jr..
