Mrs. Wyneise C. Johnson passed away at Gadsden Regional Hospital, Tuesday, December 19, 2017. She was an outstanding mother, wife, sister, maw maw and friend. When she passed, she was surrounded by many friends and family. Thank you so very much. Mrs. Johnson loved to spend time working on her farm; her hand prints and foot prints are all over the farm, gardening and maintaining her beautiful flowers, cooking, quilting, and spending time with family. Mrs. Johnson was a devoted member for 64 years of West Point Baptist Church. She was involved with the WMU and for many years directed the Vacation Bible School program at West Point. She was a devoted housewife for many years but returned to work at Jacksonville Apparel for 15 years until her retirement. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, I.A. and Lucille Clark; husband, Lloyd E. Johnson; brothers, I.A. Clark, Jr., John Doug, Billy Dean and Thomas Clark. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Michael A. Johnson (Louise Granger); granddaughter, Jamie Brooke Bulger (Zac); grandson, Michael Adam Johnson (Anna Miller); sister, Marie Sprayberry; brothers, Julius Clark (Sarah), Paul Clark (Rachel), Jimmy Clark (Donna); two wonderful great-grandchildren, Granger Duncan Bulger and Avery Caroline Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to the woman quilters of the Stitch In Time Saves Nine quilting club. My mom loved spending time with each of you, she loved each of you and I know that you loved her. Mom's quilts will be treasured memories that the family will never forget. The family would like to give a special thanks to THREE beautiful ANGELS sent to us to help care for Mrs. Johnson the past five months. God truly answered a prayer by allowing us to have you three as caregivers for Mom. Tina Levesque, Kaye Turley and Cathy Nabors, each of you are fantastic people and did a GREAT job with Mom. The family will never forget you and you will always be a part of this family forever. Special thanks to West Point Baptist Church Pastor Ronnie Moore and we want the members to know how special each of you are. Mom loved her church because of the people in it. The family loves each of you and deeply appreciates your visits and prayers. Visitation will be Friday, December 22, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm at West Point Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 23, 2017 at West Point Baptist Church. The Reverend Ronnie Moore and The Reverend Steve Mayes will officiate. Burial will follow at Seven Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to West Point Baptist Church, 200 Saddle Club Road, Jacksonville, AL 36265. Pallbearers will be Adam Johnson, Zac Bulger, Dr. Joe Clark, Billy Dean Clark, Cody Galloway, Don Thompson, Jr. Online condolences may be sent to www.klbrownfuneralhome.com K.L.
