Zachary Ian Hawkins was born on February 5, 1980 to Steve Hawkins and Sherry Kidd Clark in Anniston. He attended Walter Wellborn High School and Gadsden State Community College where he not only received his Associate's Degree in Computer Science but also excelled in that field of study. He worked loyally at Alabama Specialty Products as an International Sales Representative. The love of Zack's life was his son Zachary Drake Hawkins, whom he dedicated every aspect of his life to. Zack accepting Christ as his savior was a turning point in his life. Shortly after that, he attended Our Father's Arms ministry and Word Alive International Outreach. Zack was also the manager and designer behind the Sherry Clark Ministry website. In his free time, he loved spending time with his son, his nephews and his family. His other hobbies included riding dirt bikes, gaming and listening to music. He was a lover of all things food and electronics. Zack will be remembered for his humor, contagious laugh, his loyalty and love for his son and family. His strength, courage, and perseverance against all odds are something to be admired. He will greatly missed by his family. The family of Zack Hawkins wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Amedisys Hospice, the Alabama Specialty Products family, Our Father's Arms and Word Alive International Outreach. Also a special thanks to family and friends who prayed, visited and assisted in his care. Zack passed away at his home on July 2, 2015.
