Visitation for Mr. Obie Williams, 86, will be Thursday from 12 - 2 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary followed by a private graveside with Wayne Dunnaway officiating. Mr. Williams passed away February 16, 2014 in Anniston. Survivors include his wife, Louise Williams, of Jacksonville; daughter, Carol Autrey (James), of Southside; son, Scott Williams (Thomas), of San Jose, Calif.; grandchildren, Jon Autrey, Keith Autrey, Clay Autrey; great-grandchildren, Coleman Autrey and Carson Autrey; sister, Gracie Gunter, of Coldwater; two brothers, Daniel Williams (Martha), of Anniston and Robert Williams (Norma Jean), of Eastaboga; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his wives, Mary Williams and Audrey Williams and a son David Bruce Williams. Mr. Williams was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun county. He was veteran of the Korean War and longtime sole proprietor of Williams Carpet. Mr. Williams was a member of Ohatchee Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rainbow Omega.
