Funeral service for Mr. William Alexander Nestor, 91, of Anniston, will be 2 p.m. today, March 25, 2014 at Miller Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oxford Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12- 2 p.m. the day of the service at the funeral home. Mr. Nestor passed away March 20, 2014. Survivors include his wife, Norvelle Nestor; son, Edward Nestor; daughter, Margaret (Joe) Stewart; grandchildren, Patrick (Mercedes) Buchanan, Kristin (Mark) Mireles, Elizabeth Buchanan; great-grandchildren, Christian and Alexander. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mr. Nestor was retired from the United States Army with 22 years of faithful service and worked another 20 years at the Anniston Army Depot. He was decorated veteran of the Korean War and a Pearl Harbor Survivor. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He always made family first. Mr. Nestor was a lover of Christ and a member of Cane Creek Church. The family requests no flowers and that memorial donations be made to .
