Service for Eddie Warren, 64, will be Sunday, May 25, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Warren passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014, at RMC in Anniston. Survivors include his wife, Hui "Missie" Warren, of Jacksonville; two children, James Warren, of Birmingham and Cathryn Latimer (Craig), of Savannah, Ga.; two grandchildren, Ellie and Emmie Latimer; one sister, Faye Rutherford, of Piedmont and one niece & one nephew. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mr. Warren was a native of Piedmont and a longtime resident of Jacksonville. He was a graduate of Piedmont High School and received his pharmacy degree from Auburn University. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Piedmont where he was in the Friendship Sunday School Class. He was employed as a pharmacist at Winn Dixie in Jacksonville and was a former employee of Big B Drugs.
