Ronald Mac "Lefty" Norton, 79, died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today May 27, 2014, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marc Curlee officiating. Burial will follow in Heflin City Cemetery. Visitation will be today 1-2 pm. at the funeral home. Survivors include wife, Delores C. Norton, of Heflin; son, Ronald Michael (Teresa) Norton, Jacksonville Ala.; brother Jimmy Earl (Ellen) Norton, Heflin Ala.; granddaughter, Jennifer Stacy (Scott) Campbell, Oklahoma City, Okla.; great granddaughter Madison Grace Campbell. Pallbearers will beBryan Norton. nephew, Steve Norton, Chris Norton, Jack Wood, Ricky Searcy. Mr. Norton was a native and life long resident of Cleburne County. He was a Christian by faith and was retired from the Anniston Army Depot. Due to allergies the family request that those in attendance today wear no fragrances.
