Funeral service for Clarence Swain, 71, will be on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Thankful Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Parker officiating. Mr. Swain remains will arrive at the church two hour prior to his service. Mr. Swain passed away on July 16, 2014. Mr. Swain was a member of Thankful Baptist Church, member of the Male Choir, Sophisticated Gents Social Savings Club and he retired from Bostrom Seating. Survivors include his children, Darryl (Gwen) Swain of Ferndale, MI and Angelica Teague of Cedar Town, GA; his companion, Imogene Stitts; siblings, Essie Ree Williams, Ella Bell Garrett, Georgia Ann Dates, A.D. (Carrie) and Patrick (Eva) Swain; step children, Priscilla (Slyvester) Spears, Kathy (Carton) Chamber, David (Marshal) Stitts, Ross (Sherlette) Stitts, Anita Stitts; grandchildren, Tavarus (Latha), Taran, Terranisha (Beaulah), Ivan, Jr., Shayla, Sharlisse, Shalitha, Darryl Jr. special step grandson, Davion Stitts; other relatives and friends.
