Funeral service for Nancy Taylor, 69, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Burgess and the Rev. Ray Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to service time. Mrs. Taylor died Sunday at her home. Survivors include her husband of over 50 years, James H. Taylor; her son, Steven James Taylor (Cathy); grandchildren, Alex Taylor and Beau Hodges; siblings, Geraldine Clark (George), Christine Watts (Gene), Rachel Dulaney (William) and Clyde Shuler (Patty); several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, L. D. and Nellie Shuler; brother, Frank Shuler and L. D. Shuler, Jr. Pallbearers will be nephews, Bobby Shuler, Tim Caldwell, Phillip Caldwell, Jerry Dulaney, Bill Dulaney and Tommy Dulaney. Honorary pall bears will be George and Gerldine Clark, William and Rachel Dulaney, Clyde and Patty Shuler and Dr. Charles and Lisa Lattuada. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church and attended 49th Street Baptist Church for the last 14 years. The family wishes to say a special thank you to all the nurses with ALACARE Home Health and Hospice and the nurses and doctors on the Fourth Floor of Regional Medical Center.
