Funeral service for William Edsel Ford, 79, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014, at Meadowbrook Baptist Church with Dr. John White officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 - 2 p.m. at the church. Mr. Ford passed away on Thursday. Survivors include three daughters, Susan McCall, Wendy Harmon and Missy Beverly; seven grandchildren, Ryan Harmon, Audra Luker, Terrin George, Caylen McCall, Connor McCall, Rachael Wall and Kendal Beverly; four great-grandchildren; mother, Gladys Ford; sister, Faye Minton; brother, Lowell Ford and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Ford is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Faye Ford; father, Charles Ford and several brothers and one sister. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mr. Ford was a longtime member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran where he served during the Korean War.
