ANNISTON — Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Daugherty, 86, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2008, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with the Rev. Mike Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:30-8:30 at the funeral home. Mrs. Daugherty died Tuesday at RMC.

Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Gibbins and husband, Ken, of Anniston; three sons, Howard Daugherty and wife, Joan, of Anniston, Roger Daugherty and wife, Lindie, of Rainbow City, and Larry Daugherty, of Anniston; a fifth generation grandmother to six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Daugherty is preceded in death by her husband, The Rev. Curtis Daugherty; a daughter, Kathy Henegar; a son, Kenneth Daugherty; and a grandson, Chip Gibbins.
Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mrs. Daugherty was a native of DeKalb County and a lifelong resident of Calhoun County.
