ANNISTON — Mrs. Linda Ann Woodruff Brown, 50, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Alexandria with Overseer Johnnie L. Woods and the Rev. Carlos Woodard officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hills Cemetery with Anniston Funeral services in charge. The body will be at the church one hour prior to services. The family will receive friends on tonight from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Brown died on October 5, 2009 at Stringfellow Hospital.

Survivors include husband, William "Tippy" Brown, of Anniston; three daughters, Shilenna Woodruff, of Weaver, Breann Woodruff, of Huntsville, and Kayla Coleman, of Gadsden; four grandchildren, Charles Woodruff, Christina Berry, Christopher Berry Jr. and Chania Woodruff; a loving mother, Melmaleen Woodruff, of Wellington; two sisters, Melrenee (Delano) Key, of Fairburn, Ga.; and Judy (Greg) Gatewood, of Marietta, Ga.; four brothers, Moses Woodruff Jr., of Eastpoint, Ga., Carter (Carol) Woodruff, of Des Moines, Iowa, Ron Woodruff, of Tyler, Texas, David (Maria) Woodruff, of Decatur Ga., Arthur (Renee) Woodruff, of Wellington; two step-children, Michael Mims, of Silver Run and Kimberly Brown, of Oxford; two sisters-in-law, Linda Davis, of Columbus, Ga. and Marsha Brown, of Anniston. Mrs. Brown was a Wellington native and a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church and a graduate of Alexandria High School. She managed Regis (Quintard Mall) for ten years and later at Boyd's Beauty Salon. She was preceded in death by her father, Moses Woodruff Sr. "You have our deepest sympathy."
