Oxford - Funeral services for Mr. Thomas C. "Tom" Weymouth Jr., 76, of Oxford, will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2012, at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs. Interment will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Weymouth passed away on June 8, 2012. Mr. Weymouth was a native of Newport News, Va. and received his B.A. with distinction from The University of Virginia. Following college, he was commissioned a lieutenant in the US Army. Following his military service, he moved to Anniston and was the owner of Long Memorials. He had been with Wells Fargo Advisers, formerly A.G. Edwards, since 1979. He also served on the Board of Directors of The Fellowship House in Anniston. Tom will be fondly remembered as the magician, Tom Terrific. Mr. Weymouth is survived by his wife, Donna M. Weymouth, of Oxford; a daughter, Kathryn Weymouth Williams, of Zionsville, Indiana; a step-daughter, Brooke Sheffield and husband, Josh, of Oxford; two sons, Stephen Weymouth and wife, Jenny, of Nashville, Tenn., T. Sumner Weymouth and wife, Ann, of Washington, D.C.; two step sons, Micah Shierling and wife, Stacey, of Oxford, and Jeremy Shierling, of Oxford; two grandsons, Thomas and Wyatt; seven granddaughters, Caroline, Abby, Jaquelin, Blakely, Katie, Emily, and Mikiah; and one great-granddaughter, Kieran. Pallbearers Andy McWilliams, Guy Knight, Drew Knight, Tanner McBurnett, Bob Slay, and Jim Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Prentiss Johnson and members of the Board of Directors of the Fellowship House.
