Bynum - Funeral services for Mr. James Curtis Laney, 57, of Bynum, will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Kathy Burns officiating. Burial to follow at Eastaboga Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Laney passed away at his home on November 28, 2012. He was born in Anniston, Alabama on August 15, 1955, and is survived by his sisters Sarah Laney Jackson, of Saks, Sue Stansell, of Oxford, Faye Laney, of Redlands, Calif., Lois Yabu, of Phoenix, Ariz. and Mary F. Dalzell, of Texas. He would also want us to include his beloved friend Caroline Fox, of Oxford. James Attended Wellborn High School and resided in Bynum for many years. He was deeply loved by many.
