Anniston - The family of Kimberly Monroe will receive friends at a Remembrance and Celebration of Life service today, March 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Parker Memorial Baptist Church on Quintard Avenue. Kimberly Dawn Monroe (December 18, 1968 - March 7, 2013) passed after a short illness in Anniston. She is survived by her two children, Victoria (16) and Seth (10); her two sisters, Rebecca Duke, of Camden, South Carolina, and Gloria Harrell, of Daphne; her brother, Richard Monroe Jr., of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Christine and Richard Monroe Sr. and her brother, Robert Dale Monroe. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to a trust fund account for her children at P.O. Box 2166, Anniston, AL 36202.
