Jacksonville - Graveside services for Mrs. Mana Evelyn McLemore Granger, 89, of Jacksonville, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Jacksonville with the Rev. Lamar Denkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at Gray Brown-Service Funeral Home. Mrs. Granger passed away Sunday at RMC. Survivors include her daughters, Joanne (Clyde) Hoover, Barbara (Mike) Galloway, Louise (Mike) Johnson; daughter-in-law, Sue Granger; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her four legged friend, Missy. Mrs. Granger is preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Parker Granger Sr.; daughter, Shirley Elaine Granger; son, Mitchell Parker Granger II; grandson, Christopher Shane Hoover; parents, John Marion and Mary Ida McLemore; sisters, Eloise Gustin, Louise McLemore, and Grace McLemore Wakefield; brothers, J.M. McLemore, Howard McLemore, Clarence McLemore, and Homer McLemore. Pallbearers will be Clyde Hoover, Mike Johnson, Adam Johnson, Mike Galloway, Coty Galloway and Zac Bulger. Mrs. Granger and her husband, Mitchell were the owner/operators of the Dari-Delight in Jacksonville starting from 1967 to the mid 70's.
