Jesse Manar Willett Obituary

Mr. Jesse Manar Willett, born April 23, 1933, in Gadsden, Died on July 3, 2014, in Jacksonville.Mr. Willett, is survived by his wife, Marjorie Roper Willett; son and daughter-in-law, Jace Willett and Yolanda (Ford) Willett of Webster's Chapel; granddaughter, Jessica Willett of Weaver, who was the angel of his eye; brothers, Lamar Willett of Trenton, GA; Jerry Willett of Blue Mountain and Terry Willett of Webster's Chapel; sister, Patsy Prater of Webster's Chapel. Mr. Willett was preceded in death by his parents, Nettie Blanche and Jesse Willett of Webster's Chapel. Mr. Willett was a seaman 1st class for 11 years in the United States Navy, and served on the USS Hector and USS Oklahoma during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Anniston Army Depot after 35 years of service. He was a beloved father, grandfather and brother who will be missed by his friends and family. Donations may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project in Mr. Willett's name. Service will be announced at a later date by the family. Condolences may be left at www.chapelhillfh.com
