Lloyd Larkin

AGE: 88 • Rumson

Lloyd Larkin 88, passed away at his home in Rumson on Thursday, May 4, 2017. He was born to the late James Clyde Larkin and Bernice (Henson) in St. Louis, MO.

Lloyd was a graduate of University of Missouri. He was founder and president of Pallar Company in Rumson, owner and founder of Supplies and Services (SASCO) and P & N Distribution Corp both located in NJ., he also was owner of several race horses, he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed coaching. Lloyd was a member of the Monmouth Park Owners Association, a member of A.S.H.R.A.E. organization (national engineer association) and a member of the Mason Lodge in St. Louis.

Lloyd is predeceased by his beloved wife Patricia Ann (Premer) Larkin, and his brothers James Clyde "J.C" Larkin and Edward Larkin. He is survived by his beloved companion Frances Joyce and his loving children Deborah Larkin-Carney (Bruce), Lloyd M. Larkin Jr., (Sharon) and Susan Scherschel (Mark). Also, surviving are his adoring grandchildren Sarah (Jim), Katie (Kenny), Mark, Dan, Kent, Bryan (Megan), Amanda, John, Melissa(Mick), and Travis. Also, his great-grandchildren Maggie, Abby, Lily, Sadie, Nate and Rory.

A memorial gathering will be held a John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank on Saturday May 6, 2017 from 1-4 pm. Interment will be held at a later date at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in Lloyd's memory to Monmouth Medical Center Foundation for the Emergency Dept., 300 2nd Avenue, Long Branch, NJ. 07740 or the charity of choice.
