I have only just learned that Flora passed away last year. I got to know Flora in 1980 when I ran for office. She was an enthusiastic supporter of my campaign. Some years later, I moved to the Washington DC area, married, and had a family. Flora never missed sending a Christmas card to me, and we always returned one as well. We often remarked on how dedicated and personal she was. I regret never having gotten back to NJ to visit with her. But she was a wonderful person and good friend, even at a distance. With prayers for her eternal rest.
