Very sad to hear of cousin Charlotte's death. My last visit with her was in 1979 along with my mother and her sister Viola (Ola). Charlotte suffered from spinal problems needing her to recline during our visit. I remember that Nancy lived next door and her reporting about her grandchildren. My earliest recollection was when I was a child and son Howard about my age, we went to the woods in the back to fire his shotgun. It nearly took out my shoulder, but it was exhilarating. Cousin Charlotte always had a gentle laugh, even despite her back issues. In 1980 I returned to Peru. I believe my mother Clara spoke with Charlotte by phone from San Antonio in the late 1990's I recall that we had a very pleasant visit and would recall that visit many times. My sincere condolences to Howard Jr, Nancy and David who I only remember having been a child at the time. [email protected]
