Eleanor V. Passaro

AGE: 86 • Middletown

Eleanor V. Passaro, 86, of Middletown, NJ, died on May 7, 2014 at her home. She was born in Jersey City to the late Henry and Sarah Vreeland and grew up in Lyndhurst before moving to Nutley and Colonia prior to settling in the Middletown area 15 years ago. Eleanor loved to have an immaculate house. She enjoyed crafts and having tea with the ladies. Eleanor was a member of the Women's Auxiliary in Colonia, Deborah, and "Club". Eleanor was loved by everyone she met and she loved everyone in return.

Surviving are her two sons, TJ Wright and his wife, Corky, and Jeff Wright and his partner Marion Murray; her daughter, Darlene Wright; her grandchildren, Mike, Colleen, Lauren, Dan, Heather, and Jessica; and her great-grandson, Carter.

Eleanor was preceded in death by the love of her life, Tony Passaro; her first husband, Thomas Wright; her daughter, Gail Rose; and her brother, Harry Vreeland.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 3-7 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 pm during the visitation.
