Argeris, Dana C. - 65, Wayside  
Dana C. Argeris AGE: 65 • Wayside Dana C. Argeris, age 65 of Wayside, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 24, 2015, at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. Dana was born in Ithaca, NY on August 6, 1949, and grew up in Interlaken and Deal, NJ.He was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft (1967) He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia, where he also played on the golf team, and his J.D. cum laude from Suffolk University. An attorney for nearly 40 years, Dana most recently was senior counsel at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin in Cherry Hill, NJ. Prior to that, he was a managing partner of Carton Arvanitis McGreevy Argeris Zager & Aikins of Neptune, NJ, where he practiced for 29 years. Dana was an outstanding golfer and enjoyed playing for many years at the Deal Golf & Country Club. He loved cheering on the Virginia Cavaliers and the Boston Red Sox. Dana brought joy to everyone around him. His ability to find humor in any situation was remarkable. His love for his family, sense of responsibility, kindness and unwavering gratitude will always be remembered. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Dana's loving nature will live on in his beloved family. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jeanne Argeris, of Ocean, NJ, four children, Christina (Mark) Thigpen, of Charlotte, NC; Stephen (Priscilla) Argeris, of Kensington, MD; Elizabeth Argeris, of Washington, DC; and Meredith Argeris, of New York City; three grandchildren, Maria, Rhodes and Peter; his mother Bette Argeris Blanc and stepfather Franklin Blanc of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; and sisters Nancy (Michael) Naldrett of Charlemont, MA, and Stephanie (Julio) Ugalde of Cuenca, Ecuador, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Stephen A. Argeris. Visitation will be on Thursday Jan. 29 from 4-7pm in Buckley Funeral Home 509 Second Ave. Asbury Park NJ. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am in St. Anselm's Church, Wayside. Interment Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. Ash, Meredith Virginia - 69, Manahawkin  
Meredith Virginia Ash AGE: 69 • Manahawkin Meredith Virginia Clark Ash, born to Myrtle Jackson Clark and Franklin Clark, passed from this life to be with her heavenly father at 69 years of age on January 22, 2015 in Manahawkin, NJ. Meredith, along with her husband were life long residents of Long Beach Island. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 49 years, David Packard Ash Sr.; her daughter, Jody and son, David Jr.; grandchildren, Jerrica, Chante, Chelsea and Ryan, as well as two great-grandsons Oliver and Rebel. Her brother Greg also survives her, as well as a legacy of love. In 1964, she graduated Chatham High School and went on to graduate from Wilfred Beauty Academy in Newark. She founded Simply Hair in 1976. Meredith dedicated her life to serving others. Some of her outreaches included Atlantic City Rescue Mission, Ocean County Jail, Chaplain of Teton County and Jefferson County Jails. She was known for her wonderful Gift of Mercy, Bible teachings and ministering to others. Besides Long Beach Island, NJ her wonderful life was lived in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and the mountains of Colorado. Services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015 at Grace Calvary Church, 1902 Long Beach Blvd., Ship Bottom, NJ. Visitation with family from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon; Service at 12 noon. Gathering for time of fellowship and food after. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to: Atlantic City Rescue Mission, Harvey Cedars Bible Conference, WYRS radio station or Grace Calvary Church.

Atheras, Allen John - 78, Brick  
Allen John Atheras AGE: 78 • Brick Allen John Atheras, 78, of Brick passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. He was born in New York City and raised in Spring Lake, NJ. Allen lived in Wall Township for 45 years before moving to Brick two years ago. He attended both St. Francis University in Loretto, PA and Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ, and received his BA in English. He had taught English and Special Education in Point Pleasant Boro and Brisbane Child Treatment Center in Wall. Allen was a bartender and general manager of the Bluffs, Bay Head, for 14 years. He was also the general manager for several restaurants throughout New Jersey. His last eight years before retirement Allen was the general manager of Petersons Riviera Inn, Brick. Throughout his life Allen was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed duck hunting, decoy collecting, fishing and shooting firearms. He was instrumental in the ever-popular annual Decoy Shows at the Bluffs, Bay Head. Allen was a founding member of the New Jersey Waterfowlers Assoc. He was a member and past president of the Northwest Gun Club, a member and past officer of Monmouth County Rifle & Pistol Club, and a member of both Central Jersey Rifle and Pistol Club and SASS (Single Action Shooting Society). Allen was predeceased by his wife of over 45 years, Patty Atheras, in 2012. He is survived by two sons, Rick Atheras of Singer Island, FL, and Dr. Allen J. Atheras and his wife Nancy of Brick, as well his Daughter, Stacey Atheras O'Neill and her husband Mick of NYC and Point Pleasant. Allen is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Brian, Dan, Drew, Emily, Aris, Whitney and Nicholas. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, January 29, from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals at 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Friday, January 30, at St. Martha's Church, Pt. Pleasant. The burial will be private. Belmonte, Mary "Claire" - 84, Lincroft  
Mary "Claire" Belmonte AGE: 84 • Lincroft Mary "Claire" Belmonte, 84, of Lincroft died Sunday, January 24, 2015 at Sunrise Assisted Living. Born in South Amboy she lived in Holmdel and Long Beach Island prior to moving to Lincroft. Claire was a member of St Mary's, in South Amboy and was a member of their PTA. She assisted her husband in their business, Matty's Auto Parts, Matawan, NJ. Claire loved to travel with her husband, but more then anything she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her grandson Patrick Taylor and her husband Joseph J. Claire is survived by her children, Joseph Belmonte of Fair Haven, John Belmonte of Middletown, Mary Zemann of Middletown and Patti Taylor of Middletown; her brother John Connors and her eight grandchildren, R.J., Bree, Laura, Shane, Chris, Celia, Hayley, and Paige. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4pm and 6-9pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday 10:30am at St Catharine's R C Church, 108 Middletown Rd , Holmdel. Interment to follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery, Middletown .

Browne, Donald E. - 80, Washington  
Donald E. Browne AGE: 80 • Washington Donald E. Browne 80, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on January 24, 2015 at St. Luke's Bethlehem Hospital with his family by his side. Donald was born in Newark, NJ on May 25, 1934 to the late George and Helen Browne. He resided in Warren, NJ for many years and later lived in Cincinnati, OH and Philadelphia, PA before moving to Washington, NJ in 1999. Donald proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He then worked as a banker for First Fidelity and Provident Bank until his retirement in 1994. Donald had many interests, including dancing and crossword puzzles. He enjoyed going to the beach and sailboating. His true passion was garage sales and auctions as he always was in search of finding his latest treasure. Above all, his favorite past time was spending time with his wife and family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Donald is survived by his devoted wife Joan and loving children, sons, Michael Browne and his wife Cindy, Donald R. Browne and his wife Sarah, daughters, Diane Browne and Mary Beth Browne and her companion, Jeff Clements, a step-son Bill O'Neill, a sister Claudia Miles and his cherished grandchildren, Donnie, Cody, Stephanie & Shannon. In abiding by Donald's wishes, services will be private. Charles R. Day AGE: 68 • Toms River Charles R. Day passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015. Charles lived the past 4 years in Eagle Lake, Pa. He was a retired Mason from Salco Construction, Toms River. He was a former member of The Elks Lodge #1875 Toms River. He was predeceased by his Mother, Mildred, Father, Victor, and Brother, Victor. He is survived by his sisters, Jan Naudts and Patricia Walcott-Morgan both of Toms River. He also leaves, numerous Nieces, Nephews. A private cremation was entrusted to Duffy and Snowdon, Moscow, Pa. A celebration of life will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Nicoletta "Nickie" Fazan Somerville Nicoletta "Nickie" Fazan Died Saturday at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Nickie was born in Boiano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Nunzio and Carmella Yanetta. She was a lifelong resident of Somerville. She was employed for Diehls and Ethicon in Bridgewater for over 25 years, retiring in 1985. Nickie was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church where she served on the Rosary Society. She enjoyed cooking, baking and crocheting. Nickie was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband George Sr. and siblings, Nicholas and Donald Yanetta and Phyllis Kovalchi. Surviving are her children, Stephen and his wife Mary, George Jr. and his wife Karen and Mary Anne Robinson and her husband Thomas, a brother Anthony Yanetta and 6 grandchildren, George, Amy Versace, Ashley, Stephen, Patricia and Elizabeth Robinson. Prayers will be said 830 am on Friday at the Bruce C VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 North Gaston Ave. Somerville followed by a 9:30 am Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Somerville Rescue Squad.
