Chu, John N. - Brick  
John N. Chu AGE: 87 • Brick John N. Chu, 87 years old, a 29 year resident of Lions Head South in Brick, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015. Beloved by his family, he is survived by Jean, his wife of 59 years; his son, Jon Jay Chu (Victoria); daughter, Cynthia Chu; grandchildren, Leyla Babaoglu, Jessica Chu, Deniz Babaoglu and Christopher Chu; brother, Robert Chu (Mary); sister, Mabel Wong; brother, Arnold Chu (Stella); sister-in-law, Elaine Chu, and brother-in-law, Terry Chin. He was predeceased by his parents, Ling and Lee She Chu; his brother, Raymond Chu; his sister, Rose Chin; his brother-in-law, Tony Wong, and his son-in-law Gokalp Babaoglu. Mr. Chu was born and raised in Manhattan, NY. He attended one of NY's premier magnet schools for science, Stuyvesant High School, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from New York University. He was a U.S. veteran, having served honorably as a technical specialist in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Before retirement, Mr. Chu was a licensed Professional Engineer and worked for the U.S. federal government at Picatinny Arsenal in NJ. His family will greatly miss his independent spirit, mental acuity, and un-abiding love and support. Private services will be held. The family will receive condolences at a later date. Contributions in his memory may be made to Planned Parenthood or a local food bank of your choice.

Denice, Frederick - Ocean County  
Frederick Denice Ocean County Frederick Denice, a musician and lifelong resident of Ocean County, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, Aug. 3, 2015. Fred is survived by a multitude of lifelong friends who loved him dearly and miss him. He is preceded in death by his parents Rocco and Elsie. Fred was born March 19, 1952, graduated Toms River High School South in 1970 and owned and operated Certified Fire Protection Company until his death. Fred was an accomplished Bluegrass and Folk musician who enjoyed performing at the local venues. He was well-known and loved by the local musical community, had great love and vast knowledge of the music of Southern, New Jersey and hosted a Bluegrass/Folk /Classic Rock radio program on WLFR from Stockton State College from 1985-1989. Kerry Hill-Albanowicz AGE: 57 • Brick Kerry Lee Hill-Albanowicz, 57, of Brick, N. J., passed away peacefully on September 3, 2015, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Red Bank, Kerry resided in Brick for the past 30 years. She was a graduate of Stockton University, Pomona, and received her Master's Degree from New York University, New York City. Kerry was a Speech Pathologist for the Middletown Township, N.J. Board of Education. She was a member of the N.J.E.A. She was predeceased by her parents, William A. Hill in 1986, her mother, Jane Gladys Campbell in 1999 and her brother, William R. Hill, in 2011. Kerry is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Gregory J. Albanowicz, Brick, N.J. She is also survived by her sisters, Cynthia Kennedy, Pemberton, N.J., Wendy, and her husband Barry Redmond, Red Bank, N.J. and Janey and her husband Larry Arthur, Atlantic Highlands, N.J. She is also survived by her Mother-in-law Gloria Ann Albanowicz, Toms River, and her sister-in-law and her husband, Veronica and Michael Faranda, Toms River , and brothers-in-law Mark and his wife Meredith Albanowicz and David Albanowicz, Brick, N.J. Kerry was the beloved aunt of Victoria, Caitlin, Matthew, Andrew, and Megan. Visiting will be on Sunday 2-6:30 PM followed by a funeral service at 6:30 PM at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, N.J. Committal will be private. Ann M. Montanaro AGE: 83 • Beachwood Ann M. Montanaro, 83, of Beachwood, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015. Born and raised in Jersey City, she's lived in Beachwood for the past 18 years. Ann was a 1980 graduate of Hudson County Community College with a degree in Applied Health. She worked as an ophthalmologist technician for 25 years before retiring 10 years ago. Ann is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Jeffrey A.; her son, Jeffrey and Janet Montanaro of South Plainfield; two daughters, Karen and Tom Sweeney of Brick, and Janis and Andre Hodges of Old Bridge; her brother, John and Barbara Barone of Lavallette and also 7 grandchildren, Sabina, Marisa, Alexis, Alison, Alicia, Christopher and Kaitlyn. Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, with a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. M. Pauline "Mickey" (Warner) Regenburgh AGE: 92 • Boonton and formerly of Toms River M. Pauline "Mickey" (Warner) Regenburgh, 92, of Boonton and formerly of Toms River passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015. Born in Passaic, NJ on February 7, 1923, Mickey attended Clifton High School and supported the war effort as one of the original "Rosie the Riveters" at Curtiss-Wright in Woodbridge, NJ. She was later employed by Edna Creations in Pequannock, NJ and Crum & Forster Insurance in Morris Plains, NJ. Mikey was married to the late Donald Regenburgh of Passaic, NJ. Mickey's sister, June, was married to Donald's brother, the late George "Stretch" Regenburgh, creating a "double bond" family. She was a member of the Womens Club of Silver Ridge and the Red Hat Society both of Toms River and the Deborah Foundation in Browns Mills. Mickey will be missed by her large family including; her daughter, Paula Mariconda, her son-in-law, Steve, and her cherished granddaughter, Joy, all of Bridgewater; her sister, June Regenburgh of Wayne, her "double nieces", Robin Regenburgh, Wendy Kamper and Susan Gignac; and numerous other great nieces and nephews. Funeral service at the Bridgewater United Methodist Church, 651 Country Club Road, Bridgewater on Tuesday, September 8 at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa. Relatives and friends may visit at the Layton Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Bedminster on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Rose, Edward A. - Barnegat  
Edward A. Rose AGE: 77 • Barnegat Edward A. Rose, 77, of Barnegat passed September 3, 2015. A US Army Veteran, he formerly resided in Fords, NJ and worked 33 years for PSE&G in Linden, before retiring to Barnegat in 1992 where he became proprietor of Bay Screen & Window. Edward was a member of the K of C at St. Cecelia's Church, Iselin and the Lacey BPOE Lodge 2518, Forked River. Ed had a love for camping, fishing, boating and spending time with his family as well as traveling with his wife. Surviving are his beloved wife of 53 years, Nancy P. (Kelly); three loving daughters and their spouses, Christine and Billy Rogers, Denise and Brian Juarez, Kelly and Chris Shadwell; seven cherished grandchildren, Amanda, Alysia, April, Zachary, Samantha, Sean and Matthew; a devoted brother, Joseph Rose. Weber, Joseph W. - Toms River  
Joseph W. Weber AGE: 94 • Toms River Joseph W. Weber, 94 years old of Toms River passed away September 3, 2015 at home. Joseph was born in Rochester, NY. He retired in 1984 from Morris School System after 20 years of service to the district as Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent and as Assistant Principal at Frelinghuysen Junior School. Mr. Weber was a high school studies teacher and Guidance Counselor before becoming a school administrator. He taught at North Syracuse High, North Syracuse and was a Guidance Counselor at Solvay Middle and High Schools in Solvay, NY before joining the Morris School System. Mr. Weber was a 1939 graduate of Edison Technical High School in Rochester and a 1948 graduate of Syracuse University and earned a masters degree in 1949 from the University. In both High School and College he played baseball, basketball and soccer. He was Head Coach of baseball at Assumption High School and Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse where both his teams won city championships. He later coached soccer and baseball at LeMoyne College in Syracuse. His soccer team won the school's very first game in the college's history. He also served as head soccer coach at his alma mater. In 1976 Mr. Weber umpired the Army-Navy baseball game. He received a 30 year baseball Umpires award in 1995. Mr. Weber served in the armed forces from 1943 to 1946. Following the war he played professional baseball at Hamilton, Ontario and Watertown, NY. He lived in Greenbriar Woodlands, Toms River before his death and was instrumental in organizing its Golf Club. He served as the first secretary and third golf president in 1990. He participated with the renowned Sam Snead at the Opening of the Back Nine Golf Course at Greenbriar. He was predeceased by his daughter Judy Weber. Surviving are his wife Lillian, Three daughters Susan, Dorothy and Nancy. Two grandsons, Brian and Andrew. Sister Evelyn Miller, nieces, nephews and step children Robert, Nancy and David Breitbarth. Visiting will be Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. A mass of a Christian Burial will be held on Thursday 9:45am at St. Luke's RC Church 1674 Old Freehold Rd., Toms River. Interment Private.
