Born in New Brunswick, she currently resided in East Brunswick. She was a Homemaker. Mary was predeceased by her husband Charles F Clark Jr, a son James Clark, and her parents Russell and Mary McCarthy. She is survived by her sons Charles F Clark III, John Clark and Michael Clark; her daughters Diane Daniels, Maryann Altomonte, and Susan Clark; and her grandchildren Shawn, Jessica, Jamie, Johnnie, Vinnie, Nina and Amarie Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 4th at 9:30 a.m. from the Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue in New Brunswick; followed by a 10 am mass at St. Peter the Apostle RC Church in New Brunswick , interment will be at St Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

Carol Cuccia AGE: 76 • Toms River Carol Cuccia, 76, passed away Friday (February 13, 2015) at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Jersey City to Chester and Carolyn Wasmer she lived in Dunellen for many years before moving to Toms River. Carol was employed as a branch manager with Valley National Bank in North Plainfield for 23 years before retiring in 1999. She was an animal lover and especially loved her cats. Assunta Cirello AGE: 93 • Longwood, FL Assunta "Sue" Cirello, 93, a long-time resident of Bound Brook, NJ, and more recent resident of Longwood, FL, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015, at Sunbelt Health and Rehab Center in Apopka, FL. Sue was born in Roccabascerana, Italy and emigrated to America at the age of two. She was raised on Fischer Avenue in Bound Brook, and was the beloved daughter of Attilio Miranda and Rosina (Perone) Miranda of Bound Brook. She attended LaMonte Elementary School and Bound Brook Junior High School and later became a Beauty Operator. Sue was a past president of the Lady Elks, past president of the Ladies Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, past president of the Women's Literary Club, and a member of the St Joseph's Choir for over 50 years. Sue's love of family made her home the special place - where everyone could share, laugh, and be loved. She was the heart of our family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Sue was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Fioravanti Cirello. Sue is survived by her son John Cirello and his wife Sherron, daughter Rose Roy; her 6 grandchildren and their spouses, Sue and Chris Henesy, Elizabeth Cirello, Steve and Sherron Haluszka, Charity and Michael O'Sullivan, Christian McGivern, Michelle McGivern and Ray Diaz; 8 great-grandchildren Christopher, Miranda, Aidan, Jonathan, Mia, Shane, Fioravanti and Scarlett; and her sister Eleanor DeFalco, brother-in-law Fred DeFalco and sister-in-law Anne Miranda. The family will greet friends 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Sunday, March 1, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook. Funeral services will be 9:30 A.M. Monday, March 2, from the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St Joseph Church, Bound Brook. Interment will be private.

Cook, Bernard Elden "Cookie" - 93, Somerville  
Bernard Elden "Cookie" Cook AGE: 93 • Somerville Bernard Elden "Cookie" Cook, World War II Veteran - 56th Signal Battalion, 93, passed away on February 23, 2015 after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. Bernie was born and raised in Chittenango, NY and spent most of his working life in upstate NY. He served in WW II and was a volunteer fireman. Upon retirement, he traversed the country in search of his 56th Signal Battalion comrades, successfully locating over 300 and coordinated numerous reunions. He also initiated a battalion newsletter which he authored for almost 30 years. He enjoyed playing cribbage, pinochle, billiards and attending his grandchildrens' events. Most of all, he loved his chocolate! Bernie was predeceased by his wife Ida (nee Armstrong), one brother (Walter) and three sisters (Frances, Grace, & Edwena). Surviving are his sons Bruce of Bridgewater, NJ & Douglas of Vinton, VA, and daughter-in laws Janine & Kathy. He leaves behind five grandchildren, Holly Page & husband Garrett, Emily, Matthew, Kimberly and Bryan, as well as four nieces and a nephew. Also surviving are several step-children from a second marriage. Visitation will be 1-5 pm Saturday at the Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave. Somerville. Cremation will be private. Cozzi, Veronica F. "Roni" - 54, Tinton Falls  
Veronica "Roni" F. Cozzi AGE: 54 • Tinton Falls Veronica F. ("Roni") Cozzi, 54, of Tinton Falls, passed away after a valiant battle with ovarian Cancer at Riverview Hospital in Red Bank, on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015. Born and raised in Jersey City on Feb. 22, 1961 but resided in Tinton Falls since 2000. She worked as a staffing secretary for Meridian Health since 2012. Before that, she worked 20 years in NYC while obtaining her BS Marketing degree from FDU. She also was a cruise director for 3 years in Florida in 1990. She had a passion for working with people and decided to leave NYC chaos and pursued her passion of massage therapy for 6 years at Milagro Spa and Advanti Day Resort, she was also the board president of Winding Brook Condo Association. People were instantly drawn to her sense of humor, kind heart and generosity. She always lit up a room with her smile and charisma. She loved Cary Grant movies, Sleepless in Seattle, You've got Mail. She enjoyed watching a variety of sports including football, huge Green Bay Packers fan, baseball, hockey, college basketball, and horse racing. She loved to go to the Monmouth Race Track and even worked there as a teller for 4 years as well as Keeneland Race Corse in Kentucky. She enjoyed her weekends in the summer at the race track hanging with friends and her husband. She was an avid reader and enjoyed novels by Harlan Coben, James Patterson, Elin Hilderbrand, magazines and of course the newspaper. She would read the newspaper cover to cover and had a few letters published in the opinion section of the newspaper. She loved to tell stories of the past and was very adamant about her political view. Roni enjoyed the beach, eating out at the Sitting Duck restaurant in West Long Branch, going to San Remos restaurant in Red Bank on Christmas Eve with her husband, Florida, visiting Lexington, Kentucky, eating at Malones Steakhouse and visiting Saratoga, NY. Roni had a love of cats and had "Rocco" for 22 years before he passed away in 2012. She rescued another cat in 2013 and named her "Relay" after ACS-Relay for life that she participated in for 3 years. Roni was married to Michael P. Cozzi on March 17, 2000 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on the beach. She was a remarkable woman with quick wit. Ingenuity and passion and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her. Roni is predeceased by her brother, Staff Sergeant William R. Neil Jr., she is survived by her loving husband, Michael P. Cozzi; her loving parents, William R. Neil Sr. and Patricia Neil; her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Philip Esposito Jr.; her sister and spouse, Patti Neil and Susan Martignoni; her nieces, Kailey and Megan and her nephews, Ryan and Daniel; and scores of dear friends. Campanelli, Vito Joseph - 89, Brick  
Mr. Vito Joseph Campanelli AGE: 89 • Brick Vito J. Campanelli, 89, of Piedmont Court in Brick, NJ passed away peacefully in his sleep on Feruary 23, 2015. Born in Vauxhall NJ to Joseph and Margaret Campanelli and brother to Margaret, Concetta, Angelina, Alphonso and Teresa. Vito served his country during WWII in the 78th Lighting Infantry Division. He saw action in the Battle of the Bulge and in the Battle of Remagen. He later enlisted in the Air-force and served as a military police officer in Nice France. He continued his service as an active member of the VFW No. 20 in Brick, NJ and helped with the Morning Coffee Hour at the Brick Veterans Clinic. Preceded in death by his wife, Dorothea, he is survived by his sister, Tessie; his son, Craig; and many devoted nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30am on Monday, March 2, 2015 at St. Rosa Lima Church in Milburn followed by a private memorial gathering. Burial of cremains will take place privately at the NJ Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown. Donations may be made in his name to the Wounded Warriors Project. Gloria Cerami AGE: 87 • Carteret Gloria Cerami 87, of Carteret, died on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mt. Vernon, New York and lived in Carteret for 61 years. Gloria retired as an RN from the Middlesex County Head Start Program in Perth Amboy. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles Cerami and is survived by her two daughters, Gay Cerami and Carol D'Amato and her husband, Larry; her son, Charles Cerami Jr.; her two granddaughters, Nicole and Jennifer Walsh; and her two great-granddaughters, Mariah and Layla. The Funeral will be on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 9:30 AM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue in Carteret. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington will follow. Visiting hours will be on Friday, from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Cisco Sr., Douglas F. - 78, Seaside Park  
Douglas F. Cisco, Sr. AGE: 78 • Seaside Park Douglas F. Cisco, Sr., 78, of Seaside Park, NJ, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he lived in Toms River from 1960 until moving to Seaside Park in 1993. Douglas was a 1957 graduate of Newark State Teacher's College, where he played varsity baseball and basketball. He was a teacher for 32 years, teaching at Roosevelt High School in Elizabeth, NJ then for the Howell Twp. School System. Douglas was a parishioner of St. Catharine RC Church, Seaside Park and St. Justin RC Church, Toms River, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and served as an usher. He was also an avid bike rider on the boardwalk and he worked as a badge checker in Seaside Park and worked at Victor's Parking Lot. Douglas was predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years, whom he met at Newark State College and only knew her as the girl down the hall, Jacqueline A. (nee Frank) in 2013, the daughter of Alice & John Frank. He is survived by his 3 children Douglas Jr. and his girlfriend Karen of Toms River, Thomas and his wife Cynde of Easton, PA and Margaret Murnane and her husband Patrick of Rutherford, NJ, 5 grandchildren Elizabeth, Jacqueline, Tommy, Isaac, & Crystal, and 3 great grandchildren Jaiden, Journey & Kaydence. The family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. Rose E. Carlin AGE: 17 • Fords Rose E. Carlin, 17, of Fords, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015. Born in San Francisco, CA, she resided in Fords for 14 years. Rose was a senior at Woodbridge High School. She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents John and Doris Carlin. Surviving are her loving mother Della Carlin of Fords; her dad Robert Hayes of Fords; her aunts and uncles Teresa Caforio and husband Nick, Patrick Carlin and wife Lori, Kevin Carlin and wife Laura, and Matthew Carlin; her cousins John Caforio and wife Michelle, Michael Carlin, Christina Christensen and husband Kenneth, Derick Carlin, Ian Carlin, Amy Carlin, Siena Caforio, Vance Caforio and Dean Caforio. Rose was a beautiful, passionate soul. She loved nature, long walks and drives. She always lived for adventure. She was a poet, artist, environmentalist, photographer, animal lover and very spiritual. Rose was a natural born comedian but most of all, she should be remembered for her love of family and friends.
