She was employed as an executive secretary for AT&T in NYC for 10 years. Florence enjoyed skiing and fishing. She was as avid reader. Predeceased by her husband Warren in 2005. She is survived by her sons, Sanford W. Sage, and Richard F. Sage and his wife, Donna, and her grandchildren, Kyle and Tanya. Funeral Services were held privately under the direction of Bruce C. Patricia A. Condo Sitzler AGE: 75 • East Brunswick Patricia A. Condo Sitzler died Thursday, December 25, 2014, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was 75. Born in New Brunswick, she resided there before moving to East Brunswick 47 years ago. Prior to her retirement in 2007, she was a waitress at Edison Diner, where she worked for over 20 years. Patricia was a past member of the Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis E. Sitzler in 2005. Surviving are her 2 sons, William Morgan of Helmetta, and Louis E. Sitzler Jr. of East Brunswick; 2 daughters, Pamela Walters and her husband, Martin Jr., and Lisa Grande and her husband, William, both of East Brunswick; a brother, Anthony Condo and his wife, Suzanne of Brick; 5 grandchildren, Martin Walters III and his fiancée, Danielle Rice, and James Walters and his wife, Kaleigh, Kevin Morgan, and Thomas and Tyler Grande. Friends may call on Monday, December 29th, 2-4 & 7-9 PM, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, where a funeral service will be held at 8:15 PM. Joan W. Speaker AGE: 83 • Brick Joan W. Speaker (nee Williams), 83, of Brick, NJ, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at Concord Healthcare & Rehabilitation, Brick, NJ. Born in Point Pleasant, NJ, she lived in Lavallette for most of her life, then Wall Twp. before moving to Brick, NJ. She was a member of the Lavallette Ladies Fire Auxiliary. Joan is survived by her husband Robert Speaker, a son Chris Speaker of Brick, NJ, 2 brothers Don Williams of Nevada and Lee Williams of Toms River and a sister Ann of Nevada. That family will receive friends Monday December 29th 10:00am until the funeral service at 12:00noon at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. David J. Sullivan AGE: 41 • Montville David J. Sullivan, age 41, of Montville, peacefully passed in Livingston on December 23, 2014. Beloved husband of Melissa Mattiace. Loving Father of Alexis Sullivan. Adored son of Dennis and the late Edith G. (nee Jarmicki) Sullivan. Caring brother of Tracy Shallcross, Daenna Rabaglia and Johnathan Scala. Also survived by many treasured nieces and nephews. He was very much loved by the Mattiace Family. Born in Freehold, he lived most of his life in Middletown, NJ, before moving to West New York, then Montville two years ago. Most recently, he was National Sales Director for Verengo Solar based in California. Prior to working at Verengo Solar, he was a managing director at LaBranche Financial Services, LLC, and was a New York Stock Exchange Floor Official. He fundraised for the American Cancer Society and was also a sponsor of Jorvan Community Outreach, South Africa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Monday at St. Pius X Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ at 12:30 P.M. Swier, John T. - 79, Formerly Of Bogota  
John T. Swier AGE: 79 • Formerly of Bogota John T. Swier, 79, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2014 in Deerfield Beach, FL. Formerly of Bogota, NJ, he was the son of the late John and Estelle (Franatis) Swier, and had lived I n Coral Springs , FL since 1994. Born in Jersey City, NJ, John was a graduate of both St. Peters Prep and St. Peters College. He worked for many years in sales for All State Insurance. Mr. Swier is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marilyn (Introcaso), his beloved children, daughter Susan Swier McAndrews and his son John Swier and his wife Sheila. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Brian McAndrews and John and Kayli Swier. Also surviving is his brother in law, Dolph Walter and his nephews Michael Walter, John and wife Cathy Walter, James and wife Janet Walter and Ken and wife Trina Walter. John is also survived by many cousins, friends and his brothers in the United States Army. Besides his parents, John is predeceased by his sister, Lorraine Swier Walter, his son in law Jerry McAndrews and his nephew Robert Walter. John will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of his life will take place on Monday, December 29, 2014 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Piscataway, NJ at 10:00 AM. The family requests that donations be made in John's name to either Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital

Linda Symczak AGE: 86 • Roselle Linda Symczak, (nee DiMartino), 86, of Roselle, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at Peggy Coloney's House in Scotch Plains. Born in Newark, Linda lived in Roselle for 60 years. She was a key punch operator for United County Trust Co. in Cranford for 25 years before retiring in 1991. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Linda was a communicant at Church of the Assumption for 54 years. She is predeceased by her beloved husband John C. Symczak. Surviving are six loving children Mary Ann Corcoran and her husband James, John Symczak, Robert Symczak and his wife Sandi, Diane McGinley and her husband Joseph, Stephen Symczak and his wife Lisa, and Michael Symczak and his wife Melissa; two dear brothers Joseph and Fred DiMartino; two dear sisters Francis Colavita and Pauline Rabinowitz; and 12 cherished grandchildren James, Jason, Robert, Courtney, Kyle, Joseph, Brittany, Stephen, Kevin, Tyler, Olivia, and Richard. Also surviving are 8 adored great-grandchildren. Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10am. Interment will follow to St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation is 4 to 8pm on Monday. Mildred E. Schaefer AGE: 95 • Rahway Mildred E. Schaefer, of Rahway passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday December 20th, 2014. She was 95. Born in Jersey City, Mildred resided in Rahway for over 90 years and was a former member of St. Mark's RC Church. Affectionately known as "Mimmy", Mildred was a devoted wife and mother who was loved by all for her sweet and gentle disposition and will be dearly missed. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Albert "Fred" Schaefer in 2004. Surviving are three sons; Thomas (and his recently departed wife Katy) of Parlin, Fred of Rahway, and John and his wife Ann of Cove, OR. Also surviving are a sister Lillian Finer, a sister-in-law Alice Faser, four grandchildren; Jessica Edmonson, Douglass, Patrick, & Ryan Schaefer, and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday December 28th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm in The COREY RAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 259 Elm Avenue, Rahway. Cremation will be private.

Schmidt, Lorraine - 83, Mariette, Ga  
Lorraine Schmidt AGE: 83 • Mariette, GA Lorraine Schmidt, 83, of Marietta, GA, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at Marietta Living Center after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born in Hoboken, NJ, on June 7, 1931, the daughter of the late Henry and Grace Miller. She resided in Brick, NJ for over 50 years before moving to Georgia. Lorraine worked at McGraw Hill in New York City and later retired from the NJ Natural Gas Company. She was the Confirmation Coordinator for Visitation Church Sunday School in Brick and was active with the V.F.W. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles J. Schmidt. Lorraine is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joseph Schmidt and Peter and Sheila Schmidt of Marietta, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Mark Rawson of Westfield, MA, and Linda and Eric Ramirez of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by three grandchildren Elyssa, Brian and Sean. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30th at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main Street, Allentown, NJ. Funeral Service will take place at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association; P.O. Box 96011; Washington, DC 20090 or Alz.org .
