RoseMarie "Bonnie" Foster AGE: 79 • Shrewsbury RoseMarie "Bonnie" Foster, 79, of Shrewsbury, passed away at home on Saturday, July 4, 2015. She was born in Red Bank to her parents, Mario and Rose Boncore. RoseMarie lived in Shrewsbury, West Long Branch and Tinton Falls before returning to Shrewsbury six years ago. She retired from USAG Fort Monmouth in 2003 as a Supply Management Officer after 26 years of service. RoseMarie was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Red Bank. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Foster in 1993; her parents; a sister, Adelida Binaco and a brother, Anthony DiMarcantonio. RoseMarie is survived by a son, Robert of Carlsbad, CA; a daughter, Darlene Herring and her husband, Lee of Shrewsbury and a brother, Joseph DiMarcantonio of Ocean. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Bridge Avenue, Red Bank, followed by the interment at Fair View Cemetery in Middletown. Freeman Jr., George J. - 85, South River  
George J. Freeman Jr. AGE: 85 • South River George J. Freeman Jr., age 85, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, a lifelong resident of South River, died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Care One at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Prior to retiring in 1992, he worked for the South River Board of Public Works for 33 years. George was also a volunteer fireman in South River for 23 years and also served as Fire Chief. He was a good friend, a brother fireman and a community servant. He could be counted on, always, by family and friends. George was a golf and motorcycle enthusiast and loved boating, and going to the shore and casinos. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge Temple 243 in South River for 50+ years. George was a Friend of Bill and an inspiration to others. He will be missed by all who loved him. He was a Christian and is with his Lord and Savior. Surviving are his devoted wife of 66 years, Florence (Boris) Freeman; his children: Diane Holck and her husband, Bruce, of Somerville, Deborah Smith and her husband, Lyman, of West Point, MS, and Darlene Osowski and her husband, James, of South River; four grandchildren: Lance Corcoran and his wife, Shandy, of Richmond, VA, Ryan Holck and his wife, Heather, of Flemington, Caroline Smith of Memphis, TN, and Erik Holck and his wife, Julie, of East Windsor, and four great grandchildren: Cadence and Lukas Corcoran of Richmond, VA, and Brandon and Kristin Holck of Flemington. Cremation was private, under the direction of The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME. East Brunswick ( www.brunswickmemorialhome.com ). Margaret T. De Fario AGE: 93 • formerly of Perth Amboy Margaret T. De Fario (nee Fodor), 93, passed away on June 28, 2015, at her home in Lakewood. She was born in Perth Amboy, where she spent most of her life, before moving to Lakewood 2 years ago. Margaret was employed by the Perth Amboy Board of Education as a bus driver for 22 years, retiring in 1992. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony in 1992, and by her 4 siblings. Surviving are her son, Alan and his partner Erica of Ridgewood, NY, her daughter, Marie and her partner Billy of Lakewood, and her niece, Ruth Sotto, her children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, July 3, 2015, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. Interment will be at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Hopelawn. Eugene Finneran AGE: 81 • Woodbury, formerly of Old Bridge Eugene Finneran, age 81, of Woodbury, NJ died on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Inspira Medical Center in Woodbury. Born in the Bronx, NY he lived in Old Bridge for over 30 years before moving to South Jersey 4 years ago. Eugene was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran. Before his retirement, Eugene worked for the Middlesex County Department of Probation in New Brunswick. Eugene is predeceased by beloved wife Ruth E. (Ludwig) Finneran, his brothers Michael and Daniel Finneran and his granddaughter Jessica Smak. He is survived by his 3 daughters Sarah Wisniewski of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; Marianne Whitehead of San Marcos, CA and Laura Townley of Lambertville, NJ; his 2 sons Richard Finneran of Sewell, NJ and Thomas Finneran, AZ; his grandchildren Marissa Brown and her husband Craig; Cathy Klase and her husband Zak; Lauren, Daniel & Brian Finneran; Nyssa Whitehead; Hannah and David Finneran; his great-grandchildren Nicholas & Noah Brown and Nora & Alary Klase. He also leaves behind his daughter-in-law Judy Finneran and sons-in-law Richard Wisniewski, Richard Townley & Brent Whitehead. Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of Michael Hegarty Funeral Home in Old Bridge, NJ.

Elizabeth Fitzpatrick AGE: 102 • Manalapan Township Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, 102, of Manalapan Township, died Sunday, June 28, 2015, at home. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was born in Manalapan and was a lifelong resident. She was employed at the Washington Forge Company, Englishtown for over 40 years before her retirement in 1978. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a lifelong member of the St. James A.M.E. Church, Manalapan, where she served as a Missionary and trustee. She was predeceased by her husband, Butler Fitzpatrick; a son, Butler Fitzpatrick, Jr.; her parents, Samuel and Aldena Conover; her brothers, Clifford, Stanley, and Alfred Conover; and two sisters, Mary and Olga. Surviving are her children, Fannie Johnson, Mary Elizabeth Williamson, Dora Mae Fitzpatrick, Arlene Yarbrough, and Patricia Fitzpatrick, with whom she resided; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. The viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, July 6 at the New Beginnings Agape Christian Center, 133 Throckmorton St., Freehold. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the church, followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.

Floyd, Carol F. - 64, Somerville  
Carol F. Floyd AGE: 64 • Somerville Carol F. Floyd 64, Died June 28, 2015 Carol was born in Charleston, West Virginia and was a lifelong resident of Somerville. She was employed as a special education teacher for over 30 years working in Jersey City and Franklin Township. She graduated from Jersey City State College with a BA degree and from Fairleigh Dickerson with a Masters Degree. She was selected as Outstanding Young Woman of America in 1987, she received the NAACP Service Award in 1992, and received the Governor's Teacher of the Year award in 1995. She was member of St Thomas AME Zion Church, of Somerville and served as a choir member, deaconess and as pastors' steward. Carol was a member of the National Council of Negro Women, a board member of the Martin Luther King Youth Center, a board member of the Somerville Library, a board member for Habitat for Humanity, and a member of Tau Gamma Delta sorority. Carol enjoyed traveling, singing, gardening, reading, art, dancing and was very active with spending time with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all. Surviving are her husband of 32 years Leslie, her sons Landon and Carlos Garland, daughters Nneka Garland, Leslie Lynn Floyd, and Sienna Rowland, brothers Jerry Jr. and Anthony Watson, a sister Tina Watson-Travis and eleven grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 10:30am Friday at that the First United Methodist Church, 48 W High St,. Somerville, NJ. Interment will follow at New Cemetery in Somerville. Visitation will be 2-4pm and 7-9pm Thursday at Bruce Van Arsdale Funeral Home, 111 North Gaston Ave, Somerville. Gloria J. Freer AGE: 87 • Tinton Falls Gloria J. Freer, 87, of Tinton Falls, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at home. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Oakhurst in 1957. She was a founding member and communicant of St. Anselm's Roman Catholic Church in Wayside. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Freer in 1999; her parents, Frank and Amelia DiNapoli; her brothers and sisters, Anna, Joseph, Frank, William, Charles, and Anthony DiNapoli. Surviving are her daughter Stephanie and her husband David Burke of Brick; sister, Eleanor Rizzo; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-7 pm on Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 am Thursday at Holy Innocents Church, 3455 W Bangs Avenue in Neptune City. Burial will follow at Atlantic View Cemetery in Manasquan.
