Doris Terry AGE: 89 • Lakewood, formerly of Summit Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Doris M. (Lamb) Terry, 89, of Lakewood, NJ, formerly of Summit, NJ passed away on June 22, 2016. Doris was a school nurse with the Irvington School District for 27 years. She was a graduate of Overlook Hospital School of Nursing and received her BSN from Jersey City State University. Born in Newark, NJ, Doris was married to the late C. Robert Terry for 47 years. Surviving are daughters Barbara Sage and her husband Clark of Delaware, and Deborah Crowell and her husband Gary of Pine Beach, NJ, and sons Richard and his wife Eleanor of North Carolina, and Scott and his wife Diane of Summit, NJ. She is the grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 6. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River, 1070 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital - 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in her memory.

Vajo, Florence Marie - 86, Edison  
Florence Marie Vajo AGE: 86 • Edison Florence Marie Vajo, 86, of Edison, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Born in Middlebush, NJ, she was a resident of Edison most of her life. Mrs. Vajo retired from Rutgers University in 1994 as a Library Clerk with the Douglas and Alexander Libraries. She was a Collections Curator with the Metuchen-Edison Historical Society. She was predeceased by her husband William Vajo in 2000. Surviving are her son David J. Vajo of Edison, and daughters Karen A. Colton of Snellville, Georgia, Diane M. Grant and her husband Roger of Iselin, and Michele Blankenship and her husband Mark of Fishers, Indiana. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10 am at Boylan Funeral Home 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Middlebush. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 26 from 1-4 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Edison First Aid Squad, 33 Lakeview Blvd., Edison, NJ 08817.

Luis Vazquez AGE: 60 • Perth Amboy Luis Vazquez, 60 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy with his family by his side. Luis was born in Bronx, New York before coming to Perth Amboy 57 Years ago. He was employed by various Construction Companies throughout the area. Luis loved spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Israel Sr. and Lucia ( nee Torres ); dear brother of Israel, Jr., Henry & Alcides Vazquez. He is survived by his devoted children Lusana and her husband Javier Calderon, Joseph Vazquez and Jacob Figueroa; dear brother of Wisdael and his wife Evelyn, Sadot, Ivy Vazquez, Lucia and her husband Santos Ramos and Julie Figueroa; adored grandfather of Jonathan & Javier, Jr.; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews and his longtime companion Corinna Werner. Visitation is on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 9 ~ 11 am at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Hungary Church. Interment will be Private.

Walencikowski Sr., Edmund J. - 85, Manchester  
Edmund J. Walencikowski, Sr. AGE: 85 • Manchester Edmund J. Walencikowski Sr., 85, of Manchester died Wednesday June 22, 2016 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, Lakewood. Born in Wallington he resided in Washington Twp. for 34 years before moving to Manchester in 1994. He worked for Manhattan Rubber Co in Clifton for many years and the Washington Township Recreation Dept until retirement. He served in the Army during Korean War in the 2nd infantry division from 1951-52 earning a Bronze Star, Distinguished Service Medal and a Korean Presidential Unit Citation. He was very active in Washington Twp, he was the Recreation Coordinator, a life member & past commander of the VFW Post #6192 and a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel. He was the 11 AM Usher for St John's Church, Lakehurst for 20 years, and a member of the Leisure Ridge Veterans and a board member of the Leisure Ridge Home Owners Association. He is predeceased by his wife Rose in 2013. Surviving are his 2 sons, Edmund J Jr & his wife Carol of Valley Center, CA and Paul of Little Egg Harbor, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Visitation is Wednesday 2-6 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Thursday 10 AM at St John's Church, Lakehurst with interment to follow at Brigadier Gen Wm C Doyle NJ Veteran's Cemetery, Arneytown. Pastor Richard A. Wedemeyer AGE: 62 • Forked River Pastor Rick Wedemeyer, 62, of Forked River, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 25, 2016. Born in Englewood, he lived in South Toms River and in Forked River. Pastor Rick has been Pastor of the Christian Bible Baptist Church for the past 24 years. Surviving are; his wife of 43 years, Kim; two children, Shaylyn Bell and her husband Pastor Dan and, Danny Wedemeyer and his wife Tina; four grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, Nathan and Zack; his parents Kirt and Theresa Wedemeyer, and two siblings, Mark Wedemeyer and Karen Burke. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, Jun. 28t, 2016 from 6pm to 9pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Damon S. Wiencke AGE: 48 • Forked River Damon S. Wiencke, Sr., 48, of Forked River passed away early Wednesday morning June 22nd at his home. He was a loving husband, father, and son. He was born in Denver, Colorado in 1968 and moved to New Jersey at an early age. Damon worked for the Ocean County Road Department for over 20 years. Damon is survived by his loving wife Pat, his only son Damon, and his parents Richard and Judy Wiencke. He will be greatly missed. Bartolme (Tommy) Zayas AGE: 85 • Toms River Bartolme (Tommy) Zayas, age 85, of Toms River, passed away June 21, 2016. He served in the U.S. Army with the 65th Infantry Regiment during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his sisters Maria and her husband George Ritacco, Maria Rivera, and Milagros Zayas. Also surviving are sister in laws Gudelia Zayas, and Myrna Zayas and many nieces and nephews. Jean M. Casaletto AGE: 84 • Toms River Jean M. Casaletto, 84, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on June 23, 2016 at home with her family at her bedside. Jean was born in Brooklyn, New York. She then moved to Massapequa, Long Island, NY with her husband Joseph before moving to Toms River in 1961. She was employed by the Toms River Schools as an Administrative Secretary in the office of Special Services for 21 years. Prior to her retirement, Jean and her husband Joseph traveled extensively throughout the world. She enjoyed bowling, going to the beach, and boating with her family. Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Joseph Casaletto in 2012. She is survived by her loving children: Ronald Casaletto and his wife Tracy of Lanoka Harbor, Valerie Keesser of Barnegat and Robert Casaletto and his wife Lisa of Little Egg Harbor; her adored grandchildren: Joseph and his wife Lauren, Daniel and is wife Marykate, Jaime, Paul, Jenna, Kyle and Christopher; and two great grandchildren Grady Cole Casaletto and Maddie Leigh Casaletto. The family will receive friends from 3 to 7PM on Sunday, June 26th, at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10:00AM at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Cohen, Barbara - 85, Highland Park  
Barbara Cohen AGE: 85 • Highland Park Barbara Cohen, 85, of Highland Park, NJ, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at her residence with family by her side. Born in New York City, Mrs. Cohen grew up in the city and resided in East Brunswick for five years before moving to Highland Park in 1963. She also summered on Long Beach Island, NJ and wintered in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mrs. Cohen was a 1950 graduate of Hunter College with a BA Degree in Psychology. She was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority. She was dedicated to her family and to her community. Mrs. Cohen was a Board member of the Highland Park Conservative Temple-Congregation Anshe Emeth for many years, as well as holding a membership in the Jewish Community Center of Long Beach Island. She served both temples in multiple leadership capacities. She was a longtime member and supporter of the Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey and National Council of Jewish Women, where she held many leadership positions and served as District President for several terms. Besides loving to spend time with her family, especially her four grandchildren, Mrs. Cohen enjoyed reading, politics, crossword puzzles, traveling, and going to the theatre. Daughter of the late Jacob and Bee (Smolen) Cohen,she was also predeceased by her brother, Dr. Jay Maxwell. Surviving are her beloved husband of 65 years, Arthur, whom see met on a blind date, her daughter, Nancy S Cohen, of NYC, her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Rhonda Cohen, of Philadelphia, PA and Sandy Cohen and Mary Weiner, of NYC, and her grandsons, Ben, Josh, Jacob, and Nathaniel Cohen. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Highland Park Conservative Temple-Congregation Anshe Emeth, 201 South Third Avenue, Highland Park, NJ. Interment to follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ. Shiva will commence following interment Sunday at the Cohen residence at 44 North 8th Avenue in Highland Park and will continue through Friday morning. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Cohen's name may be made to either the Highland Park Conservative Temple at the above address, the Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey, 230 Old Bridge Turnpike, South River, NJ 08882, or to the Jewish Community Center of Long Beach Island, 2411 Long Beach Boulevard, Spray Beach, NJ 08008. Coutu, Charles C. - 82, Hazlet  
Charles C. Coutu AGE: 82 • Hazlet Charles C. Coutu, 82, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. Charles was born on November 17, 1933 in Lowell, MA, where he grew up, and in 1953, he moved to Bronx, NY. On May 28, 1955, Charles and his wife, Joan, were married and began their life together. In 1964, they settled in Hazlet to continue raising their family. Before retiring, Charles worked as the Vice President of Wells Fargo Bank. He was also a proud US Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was predeceased by his son, Richard J. Coutu, his parents, Alfred J. and Marie A. (Prive) Coutu, and his siblings, Rita Shelton, Claire Caldwell, Alice Kelley, Arthur, Leo, Robert, and Edmond Coutu . Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Joan K. (Maushardt) Coutu, his loving children, Thomas Coutu and wife, Wendy, of Middletown, Kathleen Dennison and husband, William, of Utah, Marie Coutu of Hazlet, Patricia Coutu of Hazlet, and Jeanne Moir and husband, David, of Jackson, and his daughter-in-law, Jane Coutu. Charles is also survived by his dear sisters, Laura Fuller and Gertrude Flaherty, his cherished grandchildren, Ryan Coutu, Lauren Bertrand, Jason Fernandez, David Moir Jr., Danielle McBride, Richard Coutu, Michael Clark, Courtney Alessi, Kevin Clark, Steven Fernandez, Amanda McBride, Christian Coutu, Brendan Coutu, Marissa Fernandez, and Julia Moir, and his adored great grandchildren, Jayson Samson, Justin Samson, Ryder Fernandez, Matthew Alessi, Journey Samson, Jaxson McBride, Aiden Fernandez, Natalie Clark, and Kai Moir, along with 2 more on the way. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
