Toth, Louis - 87, New Brunswick  
Mr. Louis Toth AGE: 87 • New Brunswick Mr. Louis Toth, 87, of New Brunswick died Sunday at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Born in Kiralyhelmez, Czechoslovakia to Hungarian parents, Imre and Ethel (Dohanyos) Toth, he emigrated to the United States in 1951, settling briefly in the Nixon section of Edison Township before moving to New Brunswick. Mr. Toth worked as a custom kitchen cabinetmaker for over fifty year, Louis and his uncle owned, the Ladilou Company for 15 years. He later worked for the Mar-Fred Cabinet Company of East Brunswick for 35 years, retiring in 1992. Active in social affairs, he was a longtime member of the Magyar Reformed Church, the Hungarian American Athletic Club and the American Hungarian Studies Foundation, all of New Brunswick. Louis was also a member of the H.A.A.C. Rod & Gun Club, the Hungarian Reformed Federation and was a committee member of the American Hungarian Federation's Carousel Ball. Husband of 44 years to the late Pauline (Murvay) Toth, who died in 1998, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Kathleen, of Old Bridge, NJ, his daughters, Paula and her husband John Ellis, of Dunellen, NJ, Carolyn and her husband James Kelly, of Middlesex, NJ and his four grandchildren, Adrienne, Amanda, Ryan and Shawn. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 1st at 10 am in the Magyar Reformed Church, 175 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, followed by interment at the Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call at the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick on Wednesday, August 31st from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers,memorial contributions may be made to either the Magyar Reformed Church or the Bayard Street Presbyterian Church.

Vattelle Sr., Reginald - 94, Plainfield  
Reginald Vattelle, Sr. AGE: 94 • Plainfield Reginald Vattelle, Sr. 94 departed this life Fri. Aug. 26, 2016 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in New York, NY, he lived in Westfield before moving to Plainfield over 65 years ago. He was a former butcher with Meat City in Plainfield. Reggie as he was affectionately known, was a U S Army Veteran serving in World War II. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Plainfield for 65 years where he sang in the gospel chorus and was a former deacon under the late Rev. A. Ross Brent and Rev. Jerry Henry, member of SIBLE and Cell Group #19. He was also a former member of Mohawk Lodge #307 I.B.P.O.E. of W. in Plainfield, former member of VFW Post 7474 and former member of Johnson Jeter Post 219 both in Plainfield. He is predeceased by his son WrenceVattelle. Surviving is one son Reginald Vattelle, Jr.; 2 granddaughters Shelby Vattelle and Kareemah Tanks; devoted friends Ann Wilson and Amos Williams and his Shiloh Church family. Wolfgang, Elizabeth - 80, Manville  
Elizabeth Wolfgang AGE: 80 • Manville Elizabeth (Hreshko) Wolfgang, 80, entered into eternal life on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Westminster Village Health Center in Dover, DE. Born in Frackville, PA, daughter of the late Michael and Sallie K. (Kuchinsky) Hreshko, she resided in Manville most of her life before moving to her daughter's home in Delaware in 2012. Besides her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harry W. Wolfgang on September 20, 1993; two sisters, Sally Bloss and Connie Olsen and a brother, Frank Hreshko. Elizabeth is survived by two loving children, Michele Walker and her husband Tommy of Magnolia, DE and Richard Wolfgang of Manville; a cherished grandson, Danny Walker and his wife Samantha; and an adored great granddaughter Londyn. She also leaves behind her feline furbabies, Chauncey and Oreo. In addition, she will be missed by her many dear nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at East Millstone United Methodist Church, 6 Elm Street, Somerset, NJ 08873 on Wednesday, August 31 from 1-2:45 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:45 p.m. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Somerset. Angelo Chiapparino AGE: 75 • Shadow Lake Angelo Chiapparino, 75, of Shadow Lake, passed away at home Saturday, August 27 with his family by his side. An avid outdoorsman he was a former member of the Leonardo Fishing Club and the Hogs Back Hunting Club in Parksville, NY. Angelo is predeceased by his parents Michele and Carmela and his sisters; Maria Meleski, Maria Staniorski and brothers in law Joseph Christiana and Joseph Abitabilo. He is survived by his beloved wife Jenny, his loving step children and their spouses; Tina and Greg Braca, Robert and Margie DiBrino and Susan and Kelly DiBrino. Also surviving are his dear grandchildren; Kayla, Marisa, Jenna, Anthony, Darien, Mason and Amber and siblings Nicholas, Guy and Frances Abitabilo. Cotugno, Harry - Hillsborough  
Harry Cotugno AGE: 76 • Harry Cotugno rejoined his wife of 41 years, Eileen, on August 27, 2016. He was 76 years young. He loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Sophia. Although shy with most people, he was witty and had a tremendous sense of humor. His hobbies included writing poetry, reading, completing crossword puzzles, and watching the New York Giants. He loved musicals and enjoyed listening to music. He was an excellent cook with a limited menu of artichokes, sweet and sour shrimp, sausage and peppers, homemade french fries, and, of course, pasta. He worked at the Gallup Organization in Princeton, NJ for many years, but began his career as a professor at Monmouth College, where he met the love of his life, Eileen Pryor. After retiring from Gallup, he returned to teaching at Monmouth University. He was born in 1939 in Brooklyn, NY, the youngest of seven children, to Mary and Aniello. He was the first person in his family to complete his college degree (CCNY) and earned a Ph.D. in sociology from Rutgers University. He is survived by his daughter, Eileen Candelaria, son-in-law James, granddaughter, Sophia; daughter, Marianne Cotugno, son-in-law Mark Hoffman, and grandchildren: Stephanie, Steven, and Holly; brother Bobby, sister-in-law, Carmela; numerous nieces and nephews. He would not want his loved ones to cry at his passing. He left us with these words, "Remember me. Remember the good times and not the bad. Treat each other well." A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Thursday, September 1st, at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 60 Maple St, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Entombment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery and Mausoleum, Lakewood, NJ. Countryman, Robert Chapman - 91, Orleans  
Robert Chapman Countryman AGE: 91 • Orleans Robert Chapman Countryman passed away peacefully at his home on Cape Cod on August 22, 2016. He was born on Sept 26, 1924 in Middletown, PA to John H. Countryman and Erma Brenneman Countryman. He attended school in Newton, New Jersey and received a B.S. and a Ph.D from Rutgers University in New Brunswick N.J. He retired from E.I. duPont in Rochester NY and moved to Cape Cod in 1983. He was predeceased by his only child, Jill Countryman in 2011. He is survived by his wife Doris and son in law, Dr. David Podell and 2 grandchildren, Samuel Podell and Kathryn Podell. Funeral arrangements will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.

Margaret Covington AGE: 87 • Long Branch Margaret Clough Covington, age 87 of Long Branch died peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at home. She was born in Newark, New Jersey and had lived in Long Branch for the past several years. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Lonnie Covington in 1979 and her parents, James and Mildred Clough. Davis Sr., William E. - 91, Berkeley Township  
William E. Davis, Sr. AGE: 91 • Berkeley Township William E. Davis, Sr, age 91, of Berkeley Township, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Born in Jersey City, Mr. Davis lived in Florida for several years before moving to the Toms River area in 1993. He was a veteran of World War II and held the rank of a Staff Sergeant. During his career with the Army, he was awarded numerous medals and commendations. William was predeceased in 1995 by his loving wife of 45 years, Angelina Davis; parents, Daniel and Theresa Davis, as well as 14 brothers and sisters. Surviving are his children, William E. Davis Jr, and his wife, Barbara, of North Brunswick, NJ, Susan Recchia, of Old Bridge, NJ, and Robert Davis, of Jupiter, FL; grandchildren, Jamie Farkas, Brandy Davis, Will Davis Cross; step-grandchildren, Robert Belluscio, and Brieann Caruso; loving and constant companion of 16 years, Frances Davis; and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 4PM to 8PM, with a prayer service beginning at 7PM, at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Cremation is private.
