Colin Charles Wyckoff AGE: 20 • Point Pleasant Colin Charles Wyckoff, 20, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Sunday, January 25, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lakewood, Colin lived in Point Pleasant for all of his life and graduated from Point Pleasant Borough High School. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Charles Mendum. Surviving are his father, Scott Wyckoff; his mother, Elizabeth "Liz" Mendum; and two brothers, Wesley and Vincent Wyckoff. Colin is also survived by his grandparents, Charles and Mary Lou Wyckoff; grandmother, Elizabeth Mendum; and beloved friends, Karen Cambria and Aneil Sewdass. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan 28 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 29 a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 751 Main Avenue (Route 35) Bay Head. Cremation will be held privately. Zimmerman, Helen I. - 91, Carteret  
Helen I. Zimmerman AGE: 91 • Carteret Helen I. Zimmerman 91, of Carteret, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Roosevelt Care Center in Edison. She was a resident of Carteret for most of her life. Helen retired as an administrative secretary to the Assistant Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Gerald Brown, in 1988. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church in Carteret. She was fervently known as "Mom Mom" to family and friends. Helen loved baking and cooking meals for her family and friends alike. Helen is predeceased by her husband, L. Joseph Zimmerman (Joe Z.), her parents, Elizabeth and Laszlo Demeter, her brothers, Steve, Michael, Louis, Joseph and her sisters, Elizabeth and Mary. She is survived by her sons, Brian and his wife, Maria of Carteret, Barry and his wife, Marilyn of East Brunswick and her daughter, Jody Izzo and her husband, Alfred of Toms River. Helen has six grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Eric and his fiancée Jillian, Joseph, Ashley and her fiancé Mark, and Jimmy. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 9 AM at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue in Carteret. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph's Church with Interment to follow at St. James Cemetery in Woodbridge. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph's Church, Alzheimer's Association or Charity of choice.

Helen P. Zrebiec (nee Nowak) AGE: 92 • South Amboy Zrebiec, Helen P. (nee Nowak) 92 of South Amboy, NJ. Entered into eternal life on Friday January 23, 2015 at the Briarwood Care and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her family. She was born in South Amboy, and she has lived all of her life in South Amboy, NJ. Helen is a communicant of the Sacred Heart RC Church, South Amboy and a member of the Sacred Heart Altar Rosary Society and the Sacred Heart Senior Citizens. Helen was employed at Sears & Roebuck Co. In the Catalog Department, Madura Pharmacy and Eisners Clothing Manufacturing, South Amboy, NJ. She is predeceased by her brother William Nowak Jr. Her sisters, Gertrude Nowak, Cecilia Swiderski, Frances Walczak and Anna Zrebiec, her parents William and Anna (nee Nebus) Nowak. Helen is survived by her beloved husband Louis Zrebiec, her loving sons, Thomas Zrebiec and his wife Loretta of St Augustine Fla., Louis Zrebiec Jr. and his wife Patricia of Englishtown NJ, Raymond Zrebiec of Browndale, PA, Allan Zrebiec and his wife Sharon of Sayreville, NJ, and Donald Zrebiec and his wife Sharon of Jackson, NJ. Her sister Marion Stolte of Waretown, NJ. She is the loving grandmother of Cheryl Ann, Thomas, Kristen, Jonathan, Mark, Gary, Melissa, Amanda, Matthew, Andrew, Joseph and Nicholas. She is the cherished great grandmother of Allison, James, Luke, Taylor, Bailey, Brenna and Brett. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday January 30, 2015, at 8:00am from the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879. A Mass will be offered at 9:00am at the Sacred Heart RC Church, South Amboy, NJ. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin, NJ. Friends may visit on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The Sacred Heart Altar Rosary Society will have a service on Thursday at 2:30pm.

Zuber, John Richard - 82, Manchester  
John Richard Zuber AGE: 82 • Manchester John Richard Zuber, beloved husband, father and grandfather, age 82, died on Sunday, January 25, 2015, at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Lansford, PA, he was raised in Garfield, and had resided in Piscataway, for 36 years, before moving to Manchester 13 years ago. John served in the US Army during the Korean War. He received his BS in Chemistry from Fairleigh Dickenson University. John worked for RCA in Somerville as a Chemical Engineer for twenty-five years; he then went to work for Bell Labs in Murray Hill before retiring 1998. During his career he held several patents with Bell Labs and RCA. John was very active with the Piscataway Zoning Board and had held the position of Chairman. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and was an avid reader, John always had a thirst for knowledge. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family at the beach. His passion for gardening was second only to his love for his family. Surviving is his loving wife of sixty years Florence (Causer) Zuber; his sons Douglas of Sarasota, FL and Dr. Jack Zuber and his wife Dana of Warren; his sister Angela Fields of Satellite Beach, FL; his grandchildren Danielle Cummings and her husband Dennis, Charlotte Rose Zuber and Jack Zuber. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. at Higgins Home for funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel, Warren. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Visitation will be held on Friday, January30, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Gerard George Bornemann AGE: 38 • Brick Gerard G. Bornemann, Jr, 38, of Brick passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at home. Gerard worked as a HVAC specialist with Sander Mechanical in Branchburg up until his passing. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Local 9 in New Jersey. Gerard loved his family especially his son, Gerard and was an avid New York Giants fan. Born in Point Pleasant, he was a lifelong resident of Brick. Gerard was preceded in death by his father, Gerard G., Sr. Surviving are his son, Gerard of Lacey; mother, Kathleen of Brick; sisters, Heather Drew and her husband Michael of Brick, Maureen Bornemann and her fiancé, Marc Alexander of Brick, and Megan Bornemann also of Brick. He also leaves his nieces, Carissa Bornemann, Kate Drew, Kara Drew, Rebecca Bryant, and Madalyn Bryant. Visiting will be on Thursday from 4-8pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home 505 Burnt Tavern Road Brick. A prayer service will be offered on Thursday at 8pm in the funeral home. Czarnecki, Henry P. - 87, Menlo Park Terrace  
Henry P. Czarnecki AGE: 87 • Menlo Park Terrace Henry P. Czarnecki 87 of Menlo Park Terrace, entered into eternal rest Sunday January 25, 2015 at St. Joseph's hospital in Reading, PA. He was born in Bayonne and has resided in Menlo Park Terr. For the past 42 years. Henry was a mechanic with Singer Sewing Machine Co. in Elizabeth for 40 years before retiring in 1989. After his retirement he became a member of the Holy Rosary Senior Citizens Club. He faithfully served his country in the Army during WW II. Henry was predeceased by his wife Florence Balut Czarnecki in 2013 and his son Alan in 1984. He is survived by his sons Paul D. Czarnecki of Menlo Park Terr. and Gary M. Czarnecki of South Plainfield, and his brother Stanley Czarnecki of Staten Island, NY. He is also survived by his grandchildren Christie M. and Michael A. Czarnecki. Funeral services will be held on Friday January 30, 2015 at 11 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 4-7 pm.

Mary M. Dalton AGE: 72 • Keasbey Mary M. Dalton, 72 of Keasbey, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy with her family by her side. Mary was born and raised in Bracketville, Texas and came to South Amboy, then to Perth Amboy and then to Keasbey for the last 29 years. She was employed by Raritan Bay Medical Center ~ Perth Amboy for 35 years as a Nurse. She retired in 1996. She got her Nursing Degree from Middlesex County Vocational School of Nursing. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Perth Amboy. She is preceeded in death by her husband, Roger V. Dalton, Sr., and her beloved friend John C. Williams; loving daughter of William Neumann, Sr. She is survived by her devoted children Brenda, Roger, Anita, Justine and Patrick Dalton; cherished daughter of Juanita ( nee Garcia ) Neumann; dear sister of Linda Salas, Juanita "Snooky" Spratford, Linda Naumann and William "Billy" Neumann, Jr., adored grandmother of David V. Dellapietro, Jackson Roger, Van Peter and Preston Roc Dalton. We begin to leave on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street for a funeral service at 10 am at the St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 183 Rector Street. Burial will be at Alpine Cemetery. Visiting is on Wednesday from 2 ~ 4 & 7 ~ 9 pm.

DeChellis, Anthony J. - 81, Maplewood  
Anthony J. DeChellis AGE: 81 • Maplewood Anthony J. DeChellis, a former Westfield and Mountainside resident passed away Friday morning Jan 23, 2015 at his residence, the Winchester Gardens apartments in Maplewood. He was 81 years old. A former owner of Westfield Plumbing and Heating Supply Company, he was also active in community affairs and was one of the founders of the Town Bank of Westfield, now known as Two Rivers. He is survived by Debbie, Paul, Joe and Brian Dunn, Jeffrey DeChellis, Gene Mayer, and CarolAnne, Michelle, Brady and Meagan Mayer-DeChellis all of Middlesex, Rick DeChellis and Paula Schmitz of Scotch Plains and Rene Schmitz and Alexis Hernandez of Metuchen and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Jan 27, 2015 at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave, Westfield, NJ from 4 to 8 PM.
