Janet Elsie Carr AGE: 82 • Wall Janet Elsie (Neaves) Carr, 82, of Wall, formerly of Neptune City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2015, surrounded by her family. Janet was a homemaker who loved traveling, quilting, knitting and most of all, family and friends. She was a member of West Grove Methodist Church, Cub Scout and Girl Scout Leader in Neptune City. Janet is predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Richard A. Carr Sr. Devoted mother to Richard Jr. and wife Shelly, Robert and wife Carole, and Debra and husband Richard. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, JR, Charles, Ashley, Eric, Thomas, Richard III, Kevin and Daniel, and great-grandsons, Paxton, Lucas and Brayden. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Ave., Neptune. A service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the funeral home. Internment is private.

Cochran, Shaun  
Shaun Cochran AGE: 48 • Shaun Cochran, age 48, died at his home on March 22, 2015. Born August 27, 1966 in Teaneck NJ, he lived in Sayreville, NJ most of his life before settling in Midland, Texas in 2009. He is survived by his mother, Laurie Cochran of Whiting, NJ, father Arthur Cochran and his wife Elaine of Seaford, DE, a brother Duane Cochran and his wife Mila of Euless, TX, a sister Laurie Ann Lepore and her husband Tim of Pohatcong, NJ. Forever known as "Shunkle" to his nieces and nephew, Alyssa, Kaylee and Daniel Lepore. Shaun was a 1984 graduate of Sayreville War Memorial High School. For the past 18 years, he has been employed by several Ford dealerships as a Master Auto Technician and certified in Ford Diesel. Shaun had a love for Motocross, drag racing, pyrotechnics, tinkering with engines, fishing, hiking and a thrill for speed. At Shauns request, no services will be held. The family requests memorial contributions be made to your local Animal Humane Society.

Theodore T. Craig Neptune Theodore T. Craig, of Neptune, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2015 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Annie P. Craig of 33 years, 2 daughters, a stepdaughter and 4 grandchildren as well as 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Frank Mario Cusumano AGE: 76 • Jackson Township Frank Mario Cusumano, 76, of Jackson Twp., passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Frank was born in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in Paramus, NJ, prior to relocating to Jackson Twp. 10 years ago. Frank was a kitchen designer for The Home Depot, Paramus, NJ, retiring in 2003 after 32 years of service. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a Private First Class. He was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Matteo and Vincenza Cusumano. He is survived by his wife, Betsy Cusumano of Jackson Twp.; his daughters, Lenore Cusumano Kapetanis and her husband, George of New Port Richey, FL, Denise Cusumano To of Belcamp, MD, and Annmarie Cusumano Pinto and her husband Dean of Jackson; his grandchildren, Randy Baird of FL, Christopher Baird of FL, George Kapetanis of FL, David To of MD, Grace Pinto of NJ, Matthew Pinto of NJ, and Sophia Pinto of NJ; and by his great-grandchildren, Emma Baird and Mason Baird, both of FL. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 and from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9 a.m. at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp. Interment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Rd., Paramus, NJ 07652. Favara, Marion F. - Old Bridge  
Marion F. Favara AGE: 87 • Old Bridge Marion F. Favara, 87 of Old Bridge, died gracefully Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY she was a lifelong resident before moving to Old Bridge 3 short years ago. Before her retirement, Marion was a secretary for over 30 years with Frank and Paul's Collision Shop in Brooklyn. Marion enjoyed playing cards and bingo but above anything else absolutely adored spending time with her grandchildren. Marion is predeceased by her 2 sisters Sis and Angie. She is survived by her loving daughters Marie (and her husband John) Vallo of Old Bridge and Graceanne (and her husband Alan) Kaplan of Stanford, NY. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren John Vallo and Liza Gawlak. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation Friday, March 27, 2015 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home 3377 U.S. 9, Old Bridge NJ 08857. Furman, Nancy S. - 65, Columbia, Nc  
Nancy S. Furman AGE: 65 • Columbia, NC Nancy Anne Shipman Furman, 65, of 880 Bulls Bay Road, Columbia, NC, died unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, March 22, 2015. Born in Monmouth County, New Jersey, Sept. 14, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Cathryn Thompson Shipman. She was married to John Joseph Furman who survives. After moving to Tyrrell County some 15 years ago, she worked with Pocosin Arts and more recently was a case worker with the Tyrrell County Department of Social Services. She attended Soundside Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter Shipman and Henry "Chubby" Shipman. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Jesse Cook and wife Tammy of Sims, NC; a daughter, Carrie Turbull and husband, Bruce (Goober) of Granville, Vermont; a sister, Sandy Frank and husband, Edward of Belmar, NJ; and two grandchildren, Travis Turbull and Lila Cook. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015 until the memorial service at 8 p.m. in the Columbia Chapel of Bryan Funeral Service. Rev. Royce Reynolds will officiate. Lillian A. Gagan AGE: 92 • Eatontown Lillian A. Gagan, age 92, of Eatontown, on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Born and raised in New Brunswick, Lillian had lived in Paterson for much of her life before moving to Eatontown 20 years ago. Lillian had attended the Trenton School for the Deaf and worked at the Westwood Lamp Company before retiring in 1987. Lillian was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Gagan (1981). Mrs. Gagan is the loving aunt of Lawrence Olson and wife Ermetta Olson of Midland Park, Dorothy Staats of Weeki Wachi, FL, Richard Mac Dowell of East Brunswick, Irving Mac Dowell and Louise Cassino of Lambertville, NJ. She was predeceased her sisters, Elizabeth Olson and Ruth Mac Dowell. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Costos Nemos "Gus" Gavrielides Sarasota, FL 11/27/1933-03/19/2015 Gus Gavrielides, 81, of Sarasota, FL passed away peacefully at home with his children at his side on March 19, 2015. Proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Gus was lovingly called "The Mayor of Datura" which is the street he lived on for 30 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Nemos and Fotiny, as well as his beloved wife, Wyoma Rae. He is survived by his children, Laura (Ronnie) Wrensen and Michael (Triccia) Gavrielides; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; a sister, Lu Vitale; a brother, Peter (Jan) Gavrielides; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 311 Carr Ave., Keansburg, NJ 07734.
