Harrison, George - Bound Brook  
George Harrison AGE: 81 • Bound Brook George Harrison, 81, died Sunday, July 26, 2015, at his home in Bound Brook, with his loving family by his side. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, Mr. Harrison attended Milton Hershey School where he lettered in football and wresting. He graduated in 1952. Following graduation, he joined the US Navy, and served in the submarine service, during the Korean War. Mr. Harrison was honorably discharged in 1961. He attended Wilkes University for two years, then transferred to Trenton State Teachers' College, where he wrote for the school newspaper. He graduated in 1966 with a Bachelor of Arts. Mr. Harrison taught English, Shakespeare, Creative Writing, and Science Fiction at Somerville High School for 25 years. He also served as Debate Team Advisor, before retiring in 1991. Following his retirement, he pursued his interests in photography, woodworking, hiking, drawing, spending time with family, and reading. Mr. Harrison was also known to many for his great love of animals. Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife of 54 years, Annmarie (Romano); his daughter, Cathleen Ludlow, and her husband, Adam of Bound Brook; his beloved granddaughters, Catherine and Caden Ludlow; his sisters, June Andes and Pat Michels; brother, William Shoplick; cousins (his buddies), Brent, Bart, Brock, and Bryce Mundy; nephew, Ken Duda; niece, Pat Greenburg, as well as many additional cousins, nieces and nephews that he held dear. Viewing will be at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook on Thursday, July 30 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Leon Paul Holmes AGE: 73 • Matawan Leon Paul Holmes, of Matawan, born Feb. 27, 1942 and he entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 26, 2015. Relatives and friends are invited to final visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 at Community Bible Fellowship Church, 268 Cliffwood Ave., Cliffwood, NJ 07721. Jackson, Mary Eleen - Freehold  
Mary Eleen Jackson AGE: 83 • Freehold Mary Eleen Jackson, 83, of Freehold, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, surrounded by her children. Mrs. Jackson, daughter of the late James C. and Lauretta Layton Ryan, was born in Lakewood and was a lifelong Freehold resident. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and a former member of the St. Rose of Lima P.T.A. She was a graduate of St. Rose of Lima School and Cathedral High School, Trenton. Her husband of 58 years, James H. Jackson, died in 2011. She was also predeceased by a brother, Thomas Robert Ryan. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Lawrence J. Jackson, Garry R. Jackson, Jill and Glenn Guy, Kenneth P. and Amelia Jackson, Susan and Robert McDonald, Judy and John Dawes, Jr., Amy and Brian Pavlovich, and Gail and Richard Ginn; two sisters, Nancy Daley and Susan Conover and her husband Alan; a sister-in-law, Patricia Burke; 14 grandchildren, Christopher and Andrew Guy, Mariel and Calli Jackson, Benjamin, Patrick and Lilly Dawes, Thomas and Tara McDonald, Julie and Jackson Pavlovich, and Liam, Seamus, and Declan Ginn; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22 at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3 at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold, followed by interment at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Vincent dePaul Society, c/o St. Rose of Lima Church, 16 McLean St., Freehold, NJ 07728 would be appreciated.

Kurre, Lucille H. - Tinton Falls  
Lucille H. Kurre AGE: 99 • Tinton Falls Lucille H. Kurre, 99, of Tinton Falls, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Kensington Court. She was born in Newark, the daughter of Mae and Ed Duchemin. She and her husband lived most of their lives in NJ where they raised their children. In the late sixties, they moved to Winston Salem, NC where they enjoyed their retirement years. She was an avid golfer and a member of Bermuda Run CC where she had a hole in one. She was an accomplished artist and won many ribbons for her work. There she was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. After the death of her husband, she moved back to NJ and resided at Kensington Court. She is survived by her son, Wesley Kurre (Joanne) of Leawood, KS; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Kurre of Little Silver; a nephew, Joseph Duffy of Toms River; grandchildren, Allen Kurre Jr. (Sherry) of Oceanport, Jennifer Kurre (Tracy) of Little Silver, Lianne Pragosa (Anthony) of West Long Branch, Kristen McAdoo (Rick) of Ft. Worth, TX, Kevin Kurre and Keith Kurre of Leawood, KS; great-grandchildren, Patrick, Adam, and Erin McAdoo of Ft. Worth; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Olivia Kurre, Thomas and Christian Pragosa. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, Herman Kurre; son, Allen Kurre Sr., 2 sisters, 2 brothers and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10 at the United Methodist Church of Red Bank and entombment in Winston Salem, NC. Lukas, Ann  
Ann Lukas AGE: 90 • Ann Lukas, 90, died July 25, 2015. She was born on September 5, 1924 to her dear parents Antoina D'Hrienzo and Gaetano Pellechio. Ann worked as a channel swedger in Ethicon for many years. She was a volunteer worker for the council on aging in Fla. Cooking, crocheting and tatting were among her many talents. Being a loving wife and mother, a dear grandmother and great-grandmother and loyal friend were the many joys of her life. Ann was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Harold and her loving daughter Marie Mraz, a sister and 8 brothers. She is survived by her devoted daughters Ann Marie "Cookie" Lukas of Branchburg, and Diane (Bob) Clim of Pt. Charlotte, Fla., her son-in-law John Mraz, 2 cherished grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and many caring friends. Viewing will be Thursday July 30, 2015 from 4 - 8pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908-725-1887). Margaret M. Magullian AGE: 79 • Spring Lake Margaret M. Magullian, 79 of Spring Lake passed away on July 29, 2015 after a short illness. Margaret was born and raised in Kearny, NJ and was a graduate of St. Cecilia's High School, Kearny. Margaret was a homemaker for 10 years before working her whole life as an administrative assistant for various companies. Margaret was a faithful Christian and she attended the Church of Grace and Peace Church, Toms River and was active in several ministries including the Samaritan's Purse Disaster Relief Program aiding those residents affected by super-storm Sandy. Margaret was always looking out for the less fortunate, she would make sandwiches and buy knit hats and gloves and go to the Bowery, NYC to hand them out to the homeless. Margaret was predeceased by her parents George and Elizabeth (Nee Prior) McCafferty; a brother George H. McCafferty and a son Robert Brian Magullian. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law Donna Magullian of Spring Lake and Debbie and Mike Vecchio of Wall. Margaret is also survived by two sisters and their spouses Elizabeth and Robert McCartin of Toms River and Joan and Jack Luchese of Watersound, FL.; two cherished grandchildren Michael and Alexandria Vecchio. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2015 at The Church of Grace and Peace, 1563 Old Freehold Road, Toms River. Perri, Marian T. - Brick, Formerly Of Long Branch  
Marian T. Perri AGE: 84 • Brick, formerly of Long Branch Marian T. Perri, 84, of Brick, and formerly of Long Branch, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at home, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Perri (nee Glinski) was born and raised in Green Point, Brooklyn. She came to Long Branch at age 16, and was a lifelong resident there until moving to Brick in 2005. She was a homemaker, and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, whose greatest joy in life was to spend time with her family, especially at their Sunday gatherings. Mrs. Perri was predeceased by her beloved husband, James A. Perri, in 2008. She is survived by her sons and their wives, James and Laurlee, Michael and Barbara, Joseph and Lynn, Thomas and Kim, Robert and Carolyn, and Steven and Tina, and by her daughters and their husbands, Patricia and John Morgan, and Regina and Jerry Catney. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Additionally, Mrs. Perri is survived by her siblings, Edward Glinski, Veronica Horner, and Christine Glinski, all of Florida, and she was predeceased by her brother, Richard Glinski. Visitation will take place at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, on Sunday, August 2, 2015, from 4-8 P.M., with a funeral service to be held at 6:30 P.M. A prayer service will take place at the funeral home on Monday, August 3rd, at 9 A.M., followed by entombment at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport.
