A. Michael Tramontano, 93, of Bayville, passed at home on November 27, 2013, with his loving family at his bedside. He was born and lived most of his life in Plainfield before moving to Bayville. Mr. Tramontano was a Real Estate Entrepreneur who proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II. He served as president of the Kwansis Club; was active with the Red Cross and the Salvation Army; former parishioner of St Bernard's Church and was past president of their Holy Name Society; and also was Director of Garden State Savings and Loan, all Plainfield. Michael is predeceased by his brother Vincent. Surviving are his beloved wife of 65 years Lillian (nee DiDario) Tramontano; five children, MaryLynn Spirito, Michael, Paul, Neil and his wife Patti and Robert and his wife Janine; three sisters, Ann Silveri, Ida Zampella and Julia Stackowski; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Sunday, Dec. 1st, from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Funeral Monday, 10am at the funeral home before celebrating an 11am Funeral Mass at ST. Barnabas Church, Bayville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's memory to: St. Barnabas Church, St. Vincent DePaul Society, 33 Woodland Road, Bayville, NJ 08721, would be appreciated.
