Alfred "Fred" Baginski, 89, of Toms River, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at home with his loving wife. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he resided in Plainview, NY prior to moving to Toms River in 1996. Alfred was a World War II Navy veteran serving from 1942-1945. He was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Toms River and member of the American Legion Post 1000 of Trenton and Ocean County Polish-American Club. Alfred worked as an experimental machinist for various companies for over 30 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Estelle; sons, James Baginski of NY, NY and Thomas and Donna Baginski of Metuchen; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Allison, and a niece and many nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church, Toms River. Interment will follow at the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery.
