AGE: 76 • Toms River

Donald P. Sikorski, 76, of Toms River, passed away at Community Medical Center, Toms River, on February 22, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived most of his life in Toms River. He worked for the US Navy, Lakehurst, as a senior shop clerk for 20 years before retiring in 1984 and worked for Ciba Giegy, Toms River, for 26 years before in 1994. He was a life member and past Commander of the American Legion Post 129 and was the State Commander and Detachment Commander for the Sons of the American Legion for 32 years where he was an active member. He served his country in US Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Donald is survived by his wife Christine of 42 years; his children, Mark & his wife Tracy, Toms River and Debra Sikorski-Budrow and her fiancé Richard LeNoir, Maple Shade; his grandchildren; Joey, Jason & Brittany Budrow, Nicole Daley, Kayla Procopio, Raiven Sikorski and great grandson Connor Budrow.

Visiting hours will be Wed 2-4PM & 6-9PM at "The Family Owned" Carmona - Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main Street, Toms River. Funeral Service will be held Thurs 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
