Edward H. Krausser, longtime resident of Shark River Hills, Neptune, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013. He was born in New York and grew up in Bricktown, NJ. He worked and retired for Sears Roebuck & Co. and was the Automotive Manager for many years. His parents were Charles Krausser and the former Irma Shellhorn, who immigrated from Germany and Austria respectively. He was the devoted husband to the former Joan Hagerman for over 60 years. He was the beloved father of Edward M. Krausser of Wall, NJ and Deborah Marinello of Highland Village, TX. Mr. Krausser was affectionately known as "Poppy" to his 5 grandchildren, David, Stephanie, and Kathleen Krausser, and Joseph and Michael Marinello. He was an active member of the Shark River Hills Yacht Club most of his life. Mr. Krausser loved fishing, and going out in his boat with his children and grandchildren. He served in the Army during WWII. He was a great role model for his children and his employees. He liked everyone and had a smile for everyone he met. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and

7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 at the Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Ave., Neptune. A 10 a.m. service will be held Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Glendola Cem., Wall.
