Frank Karlovich, 87, of Hazlet, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was born in Irvington. He worked as a cable splicer with Public Service Electric, Co., Newark, before retiring. He served his country in the Army during WWII. Frank was a communicant of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Keyport; a member of the Keyport American Legion; and enjoyed local politics in his free time.
Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Karlovich; his parents, Michael and Katherine Karlovich; and a brother, Michael Karlovich, who died in WWII. He is survived by two loving children, a son, Frank Karlovich and his wife Beverly of Marlboro; and a daughter, Denise Karlovich of Holmdel; a dear brother, Samuel Karlovich of Roselle; and three cherished grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will take place from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
