George had an easygoing manner and loved to laugh. He was such a decent human being and led by example. He was caring, honest, and gentle. He led a life of quiet dignity and good deeds. George provided his family with a lifetime of great memories. At age 17, George enlisted in the U.S. Navy

. George had so many other talents and interests. He was extremely creative and produced many beautiful carvings and paintings throughout his life - objects treasured by those lucky enough to have been given one. He loved living on the Jersey Shore and had many fishing buddies and tennis partners. He was a devout Catholic and attended mass throughout his life. He supported many charities, and his favorite was Children's International. George enjoyed nothing more than dancing with the ladies at family functions, always to their exhaustion.
