Jo Ann Curley Bancks died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at Health Park Medical Center, Ft. Myers, FL. She was 75. Born in White Plains, NY, she resided in Elmsford and Valhalla, NY until 1963 when she moved to Old Bridge, NJ where she lived for 36 years before moving to Ft. Myers, FL in 2000. Prior to her retirement in 1999, she was a secretary/bookkeeper at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge, where she worked for over 20 years. She was a former communicant of St. Ambrose Church, and was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Ft. Myers where she was actively involved with the church's senior organization. During her retirement she enjoyed reading, dominoes, doing the daily jumble, traveling to SuperBowls, Pro-Bowls and NASCAR races and visiting her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Bancks, and her brother, Thomas Curley. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Lynda Bancks of Simpsonville, SC; a daughter, Daryl Ann Bancks of Old Bridge; three sisters, Elaine Perilli of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sandra Nittoli of Orlando, FL, and Audrey Curley of White Plains, NY; and two grandsons, Donald and Chad.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, January 10 from 2-4PM & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 9:00 AM in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. A private entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.
