Pasquale "Pat" Brema

AGE: 70 • Neptune

Pasquale "Pat" Brema, 70, of Neptune, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at his home in Shark River Hills. A lifelong resident of Neptune, he attended Neptune High School. Prior to working for Seaboard Welding for several years, he was the proprietor of his own trucking business. Pat dedicated countless hours to and was considered the heart and soul of the Shark River Beach and Yacht Club.

Pat was a beloved husband, father, grandfather ("Pop"), uncle, and friend. He is predeceased by his parents, Pasquale Sr. and Frances Brema. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elisa; his son, Michael Brema; his daughter, Tricia Paino; his son-in-law, Anthony Paino; his grandchildren, Nicolette and Max Paino; many nieces and nephews, and a sea of friends. Pat will live forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him as a generous, outgoing man who loved life, family, and friends. His warm, larger-than-life personality never failed to make people smile. He was well liked, well loved, and will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Ave., Neptune. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11 at Holy Innocents Church, Neptune. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Neptune. Should friends desire, the family encourages memorial donations to a , or make donations in his name to Shark River Hills Fire Department and First Aid.
