Robert Louis Peschko, Sr.

Robert Louis "Red Dog" Peschko, Sr., age 70, of Tuckerton, N.J., passed away surrounded by his family Monday, March 17, 2014. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He coached Little League and Pop Warner Football. He was a member of the Redman Lodge, and held the position of Satchum. Bob "Red Dog" loved to hunt and fish, and had a cabin in Maine on the St. John River where he deer and bear hunted. Red Dog sure could fish, and passed that love of the sea down to his sons and grandsons. He fished in Redman Fishing Tournaments for 21 years also Moby Dick Fishing Tournaments. Anyone that really knew him, knew he liked to party hardy and he knew how to do it in a big way. He worked for the Tuckerton MUA for 29 years.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Ann (Hentschke), he was the father of Mary Christina (Chrissy) Peschko, of Little Egg Harbor, Robert Peschko Jr. of New Gretna, and Lester A. Peschko of Tuckerton. He was beloved grandfather of Tiffany Peschko, Lorissa Peschko, Patrick Force, Shane Force, Robert E. Peschko and Jacqueline Peschko, and many nieces and nephews. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Friday, March 21, from 3-7 P.M., with a service at 7 P.M., at Wood Funeral Home, 134 East Main St., Tuckerton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Robert Suralik Memorial Fund c/o Tuckerton Redman, Pohatcong Tribe 61. If you smoke, Stop, if not, don't Start.
