Saverio "Bill" Boffoli, 82, of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in New York City on Dec. 29, 1930, Bill was an Army Tech Sergeant during the Korean War when he earned the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Korean Service Medal. In addition, Bill was an extremely successful business man. He was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Jackson.

Bill loved his family and spent his life providing and taking care of all his family, immediate and extended. His great love for his wife, Loretta, shone through every day of their 61 years together.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Maria and Vito Boffoli; his brothers, Nicholas and Michael; his sisters, Mary Greene and Grace McGuinness. Surviving to cherish his memory always are his beloved spouse, Loretta; his children: daughter, Patrice and Ed Howe, sons, William and Donna Boffoli, and Stephen Boffoli; his 9 grandchildren, Edward and Jenny Howe, Allison and Scott DiGrezia, Stephanie Howe, William, Jamie and Daniel Boffoli, Alexander, Nico and Christopher Boffoli; his 3 great-grandchildren, Dominic DiGrezia, and Sophia and Amelia Howe; his many cherished nieces and nephews; and our closest family friend, Richard Shiffner.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson. A Funeral Gathering will be offered at 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2013 at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson. Interment to follow in Brig. Gen. William C.
