AGE: 60 • Somerset

Retired Police Sergeant Thomas Frank Daquino, 60, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at his home in Somerset. Born in Newark, he grew up in Union before moving to Somerset in 1980. Mr. Daquino retired from the South Bound Brook Police Department in 2001. Since his retirement he was employed in security, working for Merrill Lynch, Piscataway as assistant vice president of corporate security from 2002-2009, as Armed Security for US Marshals and US Customs with national and federal security clearance from 2001-2007, Garda Armored Car Service, Edison 2009-present, and as security for Somerset Patriots Ballpark, Bridgewater from 2004 -present. Mr. Daquino was an avid Yankee Fan, he loved collecting coins, autographs, having garage sales and traveling to Florida. He was a member of the South Bound Brook PBA Local #148.

Mr. Daquino was predeceased by his mother, Anna (Toscano). He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Henderson) Daquino, his daughters, Heather, Laura and Brianna, his father, Frank Daquino, his sister, Roseanne Pudlak, his brother, Frank, five nephews and four nieces.

Services will be 10:00 AM, Monday April 29, 2013 at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook. Visitation with the family will be, Sunday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
