AGE: 90 JACKSON
Ruth Doris Witter, 90, of Jackson Twp., NJ passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Fountain View Care Center, Lakewood Twp., NJ. Ruth was born in Irvington, NJ, resided in Lakewood Twp., NJ before settling in Jackson Twp. 2 years ago. Ruth worked for the Fireman's Fund Insurance Company in Morristown, NJ for many years. Ruth was a member of the Jackson United Methodist Church, in Jackson Twp., where she was involved with the Woman's Faith Circle. Ruth also was a member of the Leisure Village Craft Club.
Ruth was predeceased by her Parents, Andrew & Mae Witter. She is survived by her Nephew & his Wife, Allen & Gail Hockenbury of Jackson Twp., NJ; her Niece, Jane Goodwin of Winston Salem, N.C.; her Great Nieces, Lisa, Melinda, Sandra & Alma; her Great Nephews, Scott & Douglas; and by her 16 Great-Great Nieces and Nephew.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial ceremony on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at the Jackson United Methodist Church, 68 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. The George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson Twp., NJ is in charge of arrangements and further information is available by visiting www.hasslerfuneralhome.com.
