Najee Bailey Obituary
AGE: 21 • Middletown
Najee Franklin Alexobert Bailey, 21, of Middletown, NJ passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013, in Daytona Beach, Fla. Najee was born in Long Branch to Franklin and Claudette Bailey. He was a senior at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University majoring in Aerospace Engineering. He was a member of Alpha Phi Omega fraternity. Najee graduated from Middletown High School South in 2009 and from Thompson Middle School in 2005, both in Middletown. He was a member of the chess club, computer club, soccer and track team.
Najee was a very loving, kind, and generous human being. He volunteered at Lunch Break for four years during high school, worked tirelessly with his fraternity aiding people in need in the Daytona area. He gave annually to the giving tree during the holidays; he saved his loose coins to accumulate enough money to send to St Pius X, Kingston, Jamaica at Christmas, and donated anything he thought another child could use. Therefore, in lieu of flowers we ask that you make donations to one of the following organizations in his memory: Lunch Break, 121 Dr. James Parker Blvd., Red Bank, NJ 07701, phone 732-747-8577, or The Social Concerns Ministry, St. Anthony of Padua, 121 Bridge Ave., Red Bank, NJ 07701, phone number 732-747-0813.
Left with cherished loving and wonderful memories are his parents, Franklin and Claudette Bailey; maternal grandmother, Daisy Bloomfield; aunts and uncles, Christine and Edward Lee, Vivienne Fuller, Alison Fuller, Noreen Fuller, Lurline Smith, Norma Palmer, Lynda Royer-Fuller, Myrtle Lee, Verol and Vera Fuller, Earl and Frederick Fuller, Neville and Jean Fuller, Robert and Ava Fuller, Michael Robinson, Sharon Bailey, Karen Bailey, and Patricia Bailey; special cousins, Sean, Vanessa, Latisha, Denzel, Ward, Paige, Pharaoh, Edmond, Christopher, Nicholas, and Christian, other family, friends, and his fraternity brothers of Alpha Phi Omega. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Leanora Fuller and paternal grandfather, Alexander Bailey.
The tribute will be held at 12 noon Friday, June 14, 2013, followed by the Mass at 2 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 121 Bridge Ave., Red Bank, NJ 07701.

It was an unspeakable loss. Najee was my son's classmate in grade school, and he always greeted me in the hallways of HSS when I taught there. I was so delighted to hear he was studying aerospace engineering, with the hope of traveling into space. I am so sad to be reminded of the loss of such a promising young man.

Claudette and family, I am so sad to learn of Najee's death. I am writing through tears. I so wish I could take your pain and loss away. I would do it. I am Gary McCool's mother. I met you when Najee and Gary were roommates the first semester at Embry Riddle. I remember shaking your hand and the beautiful warmth you gave me. We both were nervous and excited about our boys' first year. They were are arrows we were shooting forth into a new venture. Najee was a gentle and kind soul. He was your joy and love. So sorry to hear of your loss. Najee was a great guy. I remember being suite mates with him freshman year at ERAU and he was always a joy to be around. Seeing him around campus the following years was always a pleasure as he was comstanty happy and in a good mood. Again, my deepest sympathies for your loss.
