I am saddened to hear of msgr. Luebkings death. I worked at Incarnation Church in Ewing, NJ when he was assigned there. He was always a kind and soft spoken man.

Our family has been blessed to have a long association with Msgr. Luebking. Since 1982, Msgr. and I have joked that he wore a wig. When he was at Diocese of Trenton, I told him of the coming baptism of my first born son. In a year, Msgr. was the Pastor of St. Catharine Church...and baptizing my second son... and eulogizing my beloved wife, Christine. He will be missed...and we thank God for his ministration all these years.

Candy and family, your brother was a wonderful man and will be surely missed. He was a pillar of love and support for me and my family when my mom (Rose Fren) died. He not only gave me his spiritual guidance but his friendship as well, Having known him since the day he arrived at St Catharine's, I have fond memories of him and he will always hold a special place in my heart. God bless you and your family.

Msgr. was my 1st employer when I was 17 at the Diocese in Trenton. He also married my husband and me. He was a friend of the Edward Smith family from Trenton. Another co-worker at the Diocese affectionately called him "Lueby" and got away with it. I will miss him and am terribly sorry for your loss. Barbara Smith
