Anastasia M. Kopack, age 10, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, Philadelphia, PA, with her family by her side. Ana was born in Toms River, NJ on October 18th, 2001 to Robert and Francesca Kopack. Ana graduated from Lanoka Harbor Elementary School and played the trumpet with the school's band. Ana was an active parishioner of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, a part of their religious education program and was active with their youth choir group. Ana was also a member of the Girl Scout Troop # 264.
Ana is survived by her parents, Robert and Francesca; three brothers, Robert, Jr., Louis and Matthew. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Isabel Garofola and her paternal grandmother, Kathy McNamee; her Aunt Mary and her husband Mark Carpenter; her Uncle Carl Garofola and her Uncle Vincent and his wife Jessica McNamee. Anastasia touched so many lives; she is now our angel and will be dearly missed by all.
The family will receive relatives and friends Friday, September 28th, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals O'Connell Chapel, 706 US Hwy. 9, Bayville, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Saturday, September 29th at 10:00 am at St. Pius X RC Church, Lacey Twp. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anastasia's memory to Ocean of Love 1709 Route 37 East Toms River , NJ 08753. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com
