Carl Treger Obituary
AGE: 70 • Spring Lake
Carol A. Treger, 70, of Spring Lake, entered into an eternal life on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Meridian Sub-Acute Health Care, Wall, after a long illness. Carol was born in Jersey City and has lived in Spring Lake for 40 years. She graduated from Caldwell College and received two Master's Degrees from Georgian Court University. She was an Administrator at Drum Point School, and Supervisor of Special Education in the Bricktown School District. Carol had many friends and was fond of animals and nature, all of which gave her great joy. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her parents, O. Russell and Anne (Killian) Treger, as well as her brothers, Russell and Howard Treger.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013 at O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at St. Catharine's Church, Spring Lake, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol's memory may be made to the Dominican Sisters of Caldwell, 1 Ryerson Ave., Caldwell, NJ 07006. My dearest sister CAROL ANN Words cannot express the loss I feel in your passing . Our weekly conversations were truly inspirational. I also reflect at our times growing up in ST NICHOLAS PARISH in Jersey city and our trips to the shore. Especially picking black berries.. you ate them by the fist full. Our parents OSCAR RICHARD TREGER AND ANNA [KILLIANY] TREGER loved you dearly. Give them my love as you join their company in ever lasting joy in heaven. My prayers will always be with you.
