Carolyn R. Coates, 62, of Brant Beach, passed Thursday, September 6, 2012. Born in Chestnut Hill, PA she is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Carolyn was Co-Owner of the Manahawkin Magic Wash, member of Soroptimist International of the Central Jersey Coast, and Girl Scouts of The Jersey Shore. She had a love for crafts, gardening, golf and all "Philly" sports teams.
Predeceased by her father, Harold F. Coates, she is survived by her beloved mother, Marie D. Coates.
Viewing Monday, Sept. 10th, 5-8PM with a blessing to follow at 8PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Girl Scouts of The Jersey Shore, Toms River, NJ appreciated.
