Catherine Frick Obituary
AGE: 76 • Wall
Catherine Ann Frick, 76, of Wall, died October 25, 2013, at Manor by the Sea, Ocean Grove. She was born in Irvington, NJ to the late Otto and Gertrude Frick. She moved to Maplewood in 1977 and then to Wall in 1994. She was cared for and loved by her beloved sister, Betty Brown who predeceased her in 2008 as well as Betty's family. She lived and thrived at the Brandywine Senior Living in Wall for the past five years. She was a volunteer at Irvington General Hospital for many years and accumulated thousands of hours of volunteer time. She was also a member of The St. Mary's Guild for Children in Orange for many years.
In addition to her parents and her sister Betty & her husband Joe Brown, she was also predeceased by her brother Bob Frick & his wife Jesse and her brother Fred Frick & his wife Madeleine. Catherine loved to laugh and spend time with her family. She leaves behind and will be missed by all of her 11 nieces and nephews and their families.
A viewing will be held at O'Brien Funeral Home in Wall on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 9:30am followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, 3300 Rt. 66, Neptune, NJ 07753, in Catherine's memory.
