AGE: 79 • Manchester Twp.
Dorothy Newbert, 79, of Manchester Twp., passed away July 4, 2013 at home. Born in New York, NY, she resided in Brooklyn, NY and the Bahamas before moving to Whiting 20 years ago. Dorothy belonged to the Women's Club, Crestwood Village 7.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 2001 and her sister Helen Mogilnicki. She is survived by 2 brothers Denis Whalen of Fla.; Edward Whalen of GA.; 2 sisters Mary Duffy of Staten Island, NY; Elizabeth Hogan of Tabernacle, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.
Interment Tuesday, July 16, 2013 11:30am at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, North Hanover. Arrangements by DeGraff Cremation Service, Lakehurst. To leave an online condolence please visit degrafffuneralhome.com

I always remembered as a child getting your cards and letters in the mail and marveling at your customized illustrations and poems. Aunt Pat we will miss you. You always made us laugh so much when we were kids. All of us looked forward to the visits from the Bahamas when school was out, or the visits to Green Wings. Gone but never forgotten.
