Martha Coyle Obituary
AGE: 81 • Howell Twp.
Martha J. Coyle, 81, of Howell Twp., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at Newark Beth Israel Hospital. Martha was born in Anderson, Indiana and was raised and had lived in Jersey City before moving to Howell in 1995. She retired as a Vice President for First Jersey Bank, Jersey City.
Martha was predeceased by her brother, William Cowley and a sister, Jeanne Mason. She is survived by two daughters, Jeanne McCloskey of Rockaway Twp., NJ and Anne Fallon and her husband, John of Howell, NJ; a son, John Coyle and his wife, Katy of Simsbury, CT; five grandchildren, Brittany Fallon, Sean McCloskey, John P. Fallon, William Coyle, and Sophie Coyle; and two nieces, Mara and Sharon.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday. November 26, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM for the procession to the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell Township for her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations in Martha's memory may be made to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Foundation, Unit CTICU, 201 Lyons Avenue, Newark, NJ 07112. The family wishes to thank the entire staff of the CTICU and the Cardiac O.R. staff for their loving care and support throughout Martha's care. Dear Anne and Jean,
Martha was a special person. Her smile could light up a room. We would go out together and laugh the night away, not realizing hours had past and it was time to go home. Martha was generous and compassionate always willing to offer a helping hand. I will miss our chats. I know she is looking down at us smiling and God has wrapped his arms around her and is smiling too!!
