Michael McNamara Obituary
AGE: 84 • Matawan
Michael Francis McNamara of Matawan, New Jersey passed away on Friday November 1, 2013 at Madison Center Nursing Home in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Born on January 25, 1929 in Brooklyn New York he graduated from Manhattan College and served in the United States Army from 1951-1953. He moved to Matawan in 1973. He was a communicant of St Clements Church in Matawan, New Jersey. He was pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Florence McNamara, his brothers James and John McNamara, his wife Clare McNamara and his stepson Joseph Hynes. He leaves behind a stepson Brian Hynes of Delran, Florida, two Nieces Jane McNamara -DiPreta and Kim McNamara-Carmody .Five Nephews James, Michael, Kevin, Sean and Robert McNamara as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Cremation and interment was private. A Memorial Mass will take place at 11:00 AM at St. Clement Church, Matawan on Saturday November 16, 2013. Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Morganville is in charge of the arrangements.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
