Nancy Craw was the only Art Teacher I ever had (when I was 7 years old.... dec 1957!) She showed me how to render explosions (very important to me then :), parachutes, and perspective. I have enjoyed drawing/illustrating ever since. I know she had a huge impact on many other young "artistes".. Thank you, Nancy Craw!

I first met Nancy when I was a junior high school art student. What an inspirational personality she had! I am so sorry to learn she is no longer with us. Sincere condolences to her family.

Dear Dick and family,
It has been about 5 years since I have lived in New Jersey and that long since I saw Nancy, but she has never been far from my thoughts and was, especially over the holidays. Now I know why. Nancy's friendship and working with her to form the Brielle Youth Gardens was such a wonderful thing. We did gardening and art work with the kids, meeting daily at the gardens, painting in the basement, pool parties in the backyard, and becoming good friends in the process. She was a blessing to the Brielle community, especially the children. She was a blessing to my children. She was a real blessing to me. I know, and through her own shared experience most certainly, that she is watching over all of you, and me and mine as well, as wife, mother, grandmother and for me, dear friend. My sympathies are with you all at this time.

I have such fond memories of Nancy as my mentor and next door neighbor at 216 Alexander Avenue in Montclair. Nancy took me into her art studio as a 9 year old child. She taught me to paint, analyze the works of great artists, read my palm, garden and many more things. I always admired her as such an intelligent, energetic fun woman and I truly looked up to her. I am so sorry for your loss. She will be missed.

If you judge a person's life by the children she has raised, then Nancy Taylor Craw had a very successful life.
While I never met Nancy, I did work for her son, Rick, and found him to be a person of great character, fairness and high business ethics.
I wish the family and close friends of Nancy the best while they go thru this period of grieving.

Hi,
I am a friend of Rick and Garvey. I am sorry for your loss. My father passed away last September, so I know what you folks are experiencing. Mrs. Craw had a long and happy life, but it's still sad that she is gone.
My condolences to all of the Craws.
